Well my cousin has a bc enabled 20 gig ps3 and wants to trade it for my 40 gigger since it creates less heat than the 20. I kinda also wanted to get back into playing ps2 games and such. Do you think its a good idea to switch? I wouldn't lose alot of my downloadable games since we already gameshare. I would just lose a few that I have gameshared from my friends but I haven't been playing those much recently.

Oh in other updates.

Traded in smash bros and kof12 to buy a hori fs3.

Got a new power supply for my wii and now the distorted screen thing is gone.^_^

Er. That's it for now.

gotta go to the swap meet.

Don't trade it. IMO, Less heat > BC.

But if you really, really want to play PS2 games again, go for it.

I agree with rogerjak, less heat is more desirable then BC in my opinion, since a brand new PS2 goes for $99.

idk, i would have cared a lot for bc (reason why i got ps2 few months ago), but 20 gig eh...

If it was the 60GB, then I'd tell you to go for it, but 20GB? Eeeergggg......

Bad deal, your better off buying a cheap PS2. I seen a brand new PS2 at the store the other day for $89.99.

Actually I have a ps2 already but I thought it would kinda be nice to have it in one package. Plus I was looking for a dualshock 2 atm. I found one today for cheap though. I think i'm gonna boot up my ps2 and play some yakuza 2.

I say go for it, but can't you just switch the HDDs?

get a universal console selector from gamestop or something plug in both with a power bar hook everything up etc etc and no need for the bc ps3.

I suggest you keep it and just avoid buying two new games and use that money to simply buy a ps2 and a game or two. You'll then have the best of both worlds.

Hope you didn't do it. The models before the 40 gig have a higher risk of getting the YLOD. You got a PS2 already, you good.
