Hello everyone!
I was gonna write a blog sooner but I kinda felt to lazy to do so. Anyways, here it comes baby!
So my bday came and went quickly. I was able to set up preorders for uncharted2 and modern warfare 2 with the money I got. I was also able to go to a few arcades with my cousins and play sfiv, third strike and blazblue against some pretty talented folks. I even got to play against this one guy that scored 9th at a blazblue tourney. Needless to say I got owned pretty terribly. Haha.
In weird random stuff news I just got these in the mail today:
The 3d glasses from namco bandai. I think it was for the legend of han tao or something. I didn't buy the game but I cheated and looked for the code word on forums. It took a long ass time for them to arrive but oh well. Free is free. I used them to look at various 3d pictures on the net hehe.
With credit from trading some ps3 games into amazon I preordered uncharted2. Since I had already preordered at gamestop for the demo access I went to cancel it. With the five bucks credit I bought this:
Samurai Legend Musashi. I guess it's kinda a spiritual sequel to brave fencer musashi. So far the game is so so. The combat is a bit boring and I hate when games don't let you take off inverted camera control. But oh well. It's mildly entertaining. I was gonna get front mission 4 but thought I heard a bad review for it a long time ago.

Next for my book aquisitions. I love buying books for some reason but I'm not a huge reader. I should change that soon though since i've been cutting back on tv.
America the book by the daily show. It's a pretty entertaining book written like a textbook.
Sumo pocket guide. I don't know what kinda book it is but I couldn't resist having a sumo pocket guide. HAha.
Lastly is memoirs of a Geisha. I keep hearing people talk about this so I decided to pick it up for a buck.

Last night I went out to eat at the mayflower in Chinatown in la with my family. It was really delicious like always. The best kinda fat you can be if you want to is fat and Chinese. They have the best food that's prolly not too good for you. Fried squid, walnut shrimp, chow mein. Mmmmh.
I ended up getting enough money from friends and family to purchase the two big games i'm looking to get this year. Those games being uncharted 2 and modernwarfare 2. I can't wait for both. I have been playing coop mode like crazy in uncharted 2. On one goldrush match I grabbed 3 guys when I was hanging from the same ledge. Haha. I also love jumping onto cover and kicking a guy hiding behind something.
But those are the two big ones for me this fall. I may end up getting the gow bluray collection if I really feel like it. Still not sure about that one.
Tonight I may try to go see a concert at my favorite punk club in la called the smell. I think it's a couple experimental electronic bands tonight.^_^
