Hi, I'm ryan_rocks29. I am a hardcore gamer, who plays games most of the time. My first gaming console was an Atari 2600 (but I was very young and I can hardly remember) which my parents had before I was born, then I got a Sega Megadrive (Genesis) in early 1995. I enjoyed the Megadrive a lot, although I probably would have enjoyed the SNES more but I was very young at the time. After that we got our first PC in 1996, which was a pile of junk that had Windows 3.1, so I never really used it. About half a year later, I got a GameBoy Pocket, which was my favourite system at the time. Then, in 1998, I got a Nintendo 64. I had the best time in my whole life with my N64 because of all the great games. The N64 made me a complete fanatic of Nintendo and made me hate every other console. In 1999, I bought a GameBoy Color because they were cool at the time. In 2000, we bought a brand new PC that was good at the time. I loved the PC and used it all the time, this was the PC that made me smart with computers. In 2002, I bought a GBA and enjoyed it quite a lot. Then came the next-gen that changed me. In 2003, I bought a GameCube. I absolutely loved my GameCube, but after a while, no more games came out and I got bored of it. Later in the year, I traded my GBA in for a GBA SP, I thought it was pretty good because it had a back-lit screen. In 2004, we bought a brand new PC that was custom built. I chose every part that was good for gaming and it was the ultimate gaming PC of its time. Later that year I took a big step and bought a PlayStation 2. I very much enjoyed the PS2 and like it more than my GCN. In 2005, I bought a DS, I thought it was a fabulous invention, until the same thing hapenned with the GCN, no good games came out a while after. Stupidly of me, I sold my DS for a PSP. When I got my PSP, I thought it was the best hand held ever and therefore disliked the DS. In 2006, I started to go off my PS2, no good games came out and I never used it. I reunited with my GCN again, adding more games to my collection. I fell in love with Nintendo again. So, I did the same thing again, I got bored of the PSP and bought a DS again. I now love my GCN and DS, so therefore, I am all eyes for Nintendo now. Of course, I am going to buy a Wii in the next-gen. In around Q2 2006, I upgraded my PC for todays gaming standards and so it was Vista ready. Now, I own a GameCube, PS2, DS, PSP and up-to-date PC.
So there is my life story in gaming.
