GAMES: GameSpot GameFAQs MOVIES: Metacritic Movietome Comic-Con

I was looking down at my reviews and noticed that my newest review of Cross Edge is already at 0 of 4 users agree with the review. I don't mind that no one likes the review but I want to know more of 'why' it isn't helpful.

If anyone that reads my entries and have read my review of this game, could you write me a comment and say why it isn't a good review. Is it to long? Is it to descriptive? What can I do to improve that review so I can make better ones?

Thanks!

-Bryan

My guess is that you pissed off some fanboys because of the low score. More likely than not they didn't even read the review and gave it a thumbs down.

I liked it , the only problem is that I don't have a PS3 .

No, it's just that most people tend to like the game from what I've heard, and they don't agree with you, so a lot of people didn't recommend it. Most people just look at the score and recommend it based on if they agree with it or not, which is pretty dumb, IMO.

Yeah they probably just weren't happy with the fact that you gave it a bad score. Keep being honest though. You may get a few thumbs down from fanboys but who cares?..

I just read your review. I gave it a thumbs up because it's a good review. Thanks for posting.

I reccomended it because it was descriptive. That's what I look at in a review. Description and Enjoyment!

Yea, I don't care that I got the thumbs down but I always like to know if what I was saying was incorrect or not informative to those who want to know about the game further.

Thanks for the comments guys

Aside from a few spelling mistakes, who knows why? It is funny most of the reviews are 8.5 and stuff and they contain not very much on the game itself.

Me, however, I enjoy reading your reviews and other insightful inputs you have on the industry at opinionunlocked.com, where you'll find the latest news, reviews and happenings in the gaming industry by you and a certain chap named Brad Wiswall. You two have very insightful and thoughtful things to say and I highly enjoy your website and program

My brain shivered during the part where you were explaining the combat, but not nearly as much as it did when I saw it in action.

It's always good to have the reviews be more factual and descriptive - which your review seems to demonstrate. As long as you're not wasting people's clicks and time with "This game just rocks" or "BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", you should be good. Take it from me. A top 100 reviewer! =)

Yah, you probably made some fanboys mad. I gave it a thumbs up, though.

I'm reading it just the now, it's good as far as I can see.

Any RPG vet with half a brain knew this was going to be a cluster #### well before it's release.
