Okay, so I wanted to hook up my PC directly to my new Samsung LCD LE40A656 100Hz TV.

I want to be able to play the latest games as well as view full HD movies. So, I bought a memory pair, a new motherboard which supports SPDIF digital out (The sound needs to go to my 5.1 surround set) and a good gfx card for a reasonable price.

This is my old setup:

• PSU Corsair 500Watt Modular
• LG L204WT @ 1680 x 1050
• Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard + MX518 Mouse
• Logitech X-540 5.1 Surround
