He brought Yu-gi-oh!'s Tristan from a dull obvious idiot to something much more, something worth tuning in to see. He also made G I Joe Sigma 6's Commander Duke a much more "welcoming" character. Less of a stiff neck. No disrespect to the previous voice actors! But Frank Frankson has an uncanny ability to tune into the core of a character and pull it out through the simple innotations of that irresistably gruff and rusty voice.

I love seeing/ hearing this man's work. It it Absolutely Always an immense joy! I always fall in love with his characters. Chaud Blaze? Love it! Eli Moon? Harvey Kinkle? All characters easy to fall in love with and vastly different from each other. I am amazed to realize the same actor who created the smooth, reserved voice of Megaman's Chaud Blaze is also responsible for the open, friendly voice of Sabrina's Harvey Kinkle! This guy has a delightfully haunting voice which he has used to give voice to such well known characters as Inuyasha's Naraku and Beast Wars/ Beast Machine's Tankor. Clearly he has had an effect on the youth of the last ten to fifteen years! For that reason alone he will always be thought of fondly buy beyond that, he has also gone so far beyond simply voicing characters. He has given them such a uniqueness that they will not be soon forgotten. Plus there is such a variety, no typecasting for him! From the cool precision of Naraku, to the comic madness of Dr. Wiley or even the mindlessness of Tankor. All done beautifully!

He captures Inuyasha's cynicial tone with a bit of the begrudging goodness as well. To go from the stalwart (sp?) upstanding Scott Summer/ Cyclops to the lecherous monk Mirokou (sp?) and do so, so very convincingly!? It is amazing! Usually when an individual does such a well known character as X-Men's Cyclops they are type cast for quite a long while. But not Kirby Morrow!
