I was originally introduced to Aqueduct through the wonder TV. Their song Hardcore days & softcore nights was used in an episode of The OC. I was imediately captivated by the chilled beat and I decided to search for more tracks by them.

The first album I got was "Or Give Me Death", their latest release to date. I loved every single song on it, my personnal favourite would have to be "Keep It Together".

With the success I had with "Or Give Me Death" I procceded with "I Sold Gold" and I was equally impressed with it.

I now plan on getting "Pistols At Dawn" and maybe "Power Ballads" as well.

I look forward to any future project they may have in store.

It is very rare for me to like every song on an album, but with Louis XIV's The Best Little Secrets Are Kept not only did I like every song, I loved every song. They are all so catchy and sound great, there is nothing else out there that sounds...

It is very rare for me to like every song on an album, but with Louis XIV's The Best Little Secrets Are Kept not only did I like every song, I loved every song. They are all so catchy and sound great, there is nothing else out there that sounds like they do. The originality is something that has just recently become hard to find in new bands but Louis XIV have suceeded, in my view any way. It's a shame that more people don't know about them, with the right radio backing they could have been a very popular band.

Imogen Heap is yet another artist that I have been introduced to through The O.C. and for that I am very thankful. Imogen Heap is my favourite female artist, she is very talented and all her stuff sounds great.

Imogen Heap is yet another artist that I have been introduced to through The O.C. and for that I am very thankful. Imogen Heap is my favourite female artist, she is very talented and all her stuff sounds great.
I love pretty much every song on both of her albums, I Megaphone and Speak for Yourself.
One of my favourites from the albums is Hide and Seak, it is very different from any thing I have ever heard before and nothing has sounded as good as it since. That was untill I watched the last episode of season 3 of The O.C. when they introduced me to a new song. It was instantly recognisable due to her unique vocals and the song was called "Speeding Cars".
Put simply, she is amazing.

I haven't known about Death Cab for Cutie for very long, they have only come to my attention due to their regular mentions on one of my favourite shows "The O.C."

I haven't known about Death Cab for Cutie for very long, they have only come to my attention due to their regular mentions on one of my favourite shows "The O.C."
I find the lyrics arevery cleverly written and well sung by Benjamin Gibbard, the main man that created Death Cab for Cutie. But his talents are extremely well backed up with Chris Walla on Electric Guitar, Nick Harmer on Bass and Jason McGerr on Drums.
It's very hard for me to pick my favourite one of their songs, it's a close call between "Soul Meets Body", "I Will Follow You into the Dark", "Someday You Will be Loved", "Crooked Teeth", "The Sound of Settling", "Transatlanticism" and "A Lack of Colour" (Hey, I did say I liked them a lot) but to have to pick just one then I would say Transatlanticism because of the great lyrics and it's beautiful sound.
I look forward to hearing more from them.
