Well I just read this article and apparently some time ago, a British politician made a comment, a comment which most people would now come to expect from this people. Apparently games were the result of "ignorance, underachievement... and poverty," to young kids, and well, oh what the heck, I might as well copy and paste what he said:
"It is about time, as a society, that we admitted the catastrophic effect these blasted gizmos are having on the literacy and the prospects of young males," Johnson wrote in The Telegraph.
"Millions of seven to 15 year-olds are hooked, especially boys, and it is time someone had the guts to stand up, cross the room and just say no to Nintendo."
Now, I may have stopped playing Nintendo games since I don't have a Wii, but if I'm not mistaken, Nintendo usually makes family games and if they haven't, where the heck have I been for the past few years?
, Because I honestly can't remember.
For those of you that didn't spot the link, quite hard not to, you could read the full article here.
