I grew up in the early sixties in northern California. Hence, I love the classic TV shows (from the 60s and early 70s)! I have been married to my best friend for more than 26 years and we have three wonderful kids, a son-in-law, and a granddaughter. We all love watching TV together. It's a blast to make pop corn, pour cold soft drinks, and plop down in front of the TV with the family. Sometimes we go over to the kids (they have cable) and sometimes they come over to our place (we have tons of DVDs--many are borrowed from the library). We like all kinds of shows: comedy, sci-fi, drama, adventure, cartoons, westerns, etc., etc. We're not into gore. We don't mind suspense shows and thillers, but not the "splatter" films that are out there. I was a full-time pastor for 7 years but am currently on sabbatical (working for a local public school district in the Midwest). Each member of our family is currently involved in some form of ministry. We love helping people. We've traveled U.S. Route 66 several times in the past six years. Each time, we meet new people, see new sights, and try new foods. It's great!
