I don't usually like to give movies full marks. In fact, I've never done this before. Bridge to Terabithia, however, isn't just any movie. I hadn't read the book, in fact, I wanted to see Ghost Rider when I went to my local cinema. My brother though, insisted that we watch Terabithia, and I finally gave in.

The movie is not what you would expect to see after watching the trailer. There are barely any CGs ; Instead, the movie follows the wonderfully talented cast, especially the kids:
AnnaSophia Robb (Playing Leslie), and Josh Hutcherson ( Playing Jesse).
Leslie is a new kid at Jesse's bully-infested school, and is also his new neighbour. Before long, she manages to get through to Jesse, and persuade him into using his imagination to imagine the same world that she sees : Terabithia.

I won't go any further to avoid plot spoilers (I'm terrible at that), so heres my overview.

Bridge to Terabithia is an absolutely amazing movie. Unless you have read the book, you will not know what to expect, because it will be unlike anything you've seen before.
The child actors are surprisingly emotional, and the whole movie had me choking back tears.
It is a story of imagination, of two kids escaping their normal everyday lives to go to a wonderful land of Terabithia that exists only in their minds.
