So, how about a blog that doesn't have to do with how bad this year has been, nor about football? Let's talk about this new craze for Lockerz "Well golly gee ReMMbErMyTiTaNs, what is this Lockerz I've been hearing about so much?" you might ask. Simply put, Lockerz is an online survey site, where members earn "PTZ" for performing simple task like registering, logging in, inviting friends to join, and completing survey questionnaires. Members can use their accumulated "PTZ" to purchase and pay for the shipping of a range of goods including electronic devices like Apple iPods, computers games, make-up and jewelery. Now, I've signed up already, become a Z-List member, and already have 128 PTZ, and am aiming for an Xbox 360 Elite Package. For those of you not already signed up and would like an invite, feel free to leave behind your email address, or even just send me a PM if you don't want your email address to be seen.
Now, tomorrow marks the official launch of Windows 7 and all of those Windows XP fans who have been waiting to upgrade, can finally breathe easy. I've had Windows 7 now for about two weeks, (through DeVry University's tech program, we got a hold of Windows 7 Professional for free!) and I'm here to say that it's all it's hyped up to be and more. For those of you on Vista, don't expect any major changes. It seems to be the same as Vista, only it's been cleaned up and done right. To be honest, if you've got Windows Vista SP 1, you shouldn't be in any rush to go out and get it. Now, if you've got Windows XP and stayed away from Vista, now's your chance to upgrade. For the first time, you'll have access to DirectX 10, and I've got to say, it's truly amazing. Not to mention that when DirectX 11 is released, we'll be able to use it! Windows 7 is what Vista should have been and it's good to see that Microsoft heard the cries of its customers and did what needed to be done.
Well, that's all for now!
