In case the point of this video flies over the heads of those who veiw it, I thought I'd share the reason why I put this song and mgs together. One of the most memerable lines in the MGS series is when Big Boss says that though the loser may die in the battlefield he is free from it. Where as the one who survives must face battle till the end of his days. I noticed in mgs that death is pretty much the salvation of everyone who's been involved in the story. Snake being the main one also realizes this I guess and from what we've picked up from the most memorable trailer where he put's the gun in his mouth.
The song written by Tupac Shakur was written based on how he felt at the time as he describes his battles, and looks at death as his own salvation, and wishing to never come back. Thus reincarnation being his only fear of death. Solid, Liquid and Solidus in away, reflect Big Boss's reincarnation, and each suffered as their father did. This stands out when the lyrics,"Never will I die I'll be back" is heard and you watch Big Boss walking to The Boss's grave with scenes of his sons popping inbetween. Grey fox who was glad to have died in battle and free from it was reincarnated against his wishes and suffers even more than he had in his normal life because he was no longer alive or dead. He wanted his death back. Raiden shares that same fate right now.
Scenes of Eva were thrown in there cause of the possiblity of her being the one who birthed Snake and Liquid. The cobra unit was placed in because their names described the exact emotions that every one felt. The Joy (The Boss) comes after The End laying dead cause her name relects the feeling after death. Liquid is famous for his return of course. Vamp is the omen of the video being a mystery when it comes to why he just wont die. Other than that, the rest of action is their for pure entertainment.
