So pretty much anyone who used to talk with me on here or saw me on the message boards alot may have noticed that I haven't been around in a long, long, long, long time. Yeah. School's to blame for that one. I'm so overwhelmed and I just can't wait for this semester to be over so it can be Christmas break. Plus I turn 17 on December 20th so yay me!
While having it turn 2007 will make me sad, not to mention signal that 2nd semester's about to start, it also represents the coming of something super wonderful! I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about.
INUYAHA EPISODES STARTING FROM THE BEGINNING!!!!!!!
I'm so unbelievably exciting. AS has been reairing the same little patch of episodes for soooo long, it'll be nice for some 'new' stuff. Not to mention I've never seen episodes about 1-36 i believe on tv, just my computer. Plus eventually they'll get back to the chunk i never go to see smack dab in the middle of the series.
Anyways i'm incredibly excited and also can't wait for the movie marathon on December 23rd. Mark your calendars!
ok that's my rant. see ya around.
Yeah so I finally saw the third movie last night, as I'm sure most of you did. I'm even more excited because I finally won my ever-lasting battle with the VCRs in my house and was allowed to record it
(no, mine's still screwed up but I finally mastered the really weird living room VCR, yay!). Anyways I thought it was great, especially the beginning.
-I was a little disappointed by how little they showed the face of Inuyasha's father, but I suppose it's better than nothing
I think Inu no Taisho rocks hard core
It's cool to see him because Sesshomaru looks alot like him and Inu no Taisho has the same calm-headedness as Sesshomaru. He also has Inuyasha's spirit and will to protect those he loves no matter what the cost. We really got to see where they got their traits from-like Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are the two halves of their father. We also got to see just how powerful the Great Demon Lord of the West really was...and let's just say I'm impressed. I mean come on, three swords. How can someone with three swords not be awesome
It was cool to see him do the Windscar as well.
-The part where Kagome's doing her little spiel is hilarious-you know when she and Sango start yelling at Inuyasha and Miroku, resulting in them simultaneously ending up on the ground
-I thought the parts when Inuyasha had Sou'unga were kinda of cool, too. Can't really put my finger on why, just guess seeing him like that. You know fighting himself from doing the sword's will-killing humans, something he never wants to do.
-The ending was good too, but I wanted to go in there and slap Sesshomaru when he has those memories of Rin, then goes and shouts out he has no one to protect-what an idiot
Anyways, that's about it for now. Hope all of those who saw it enjoyed it as much as I did!
Yeah, so I know my title sounds like a weird combination...and it is, lol. Alright the hospital part. -sigh- Well, my grandma went to the hospital Sunday night cause her kidney was hurting. We thought it was just an infection, but it turns out she's got a tumor in her kidney. They think it's benign, but they won't know for sure until after the surgery tomorrow. So yeah, needless to say I've been at the hospital so me lately, which gives me the creeps. I really don't like hospitals. Anyways, I hope everything goes alright tomorrow.
On a lighter note I got my hair cut on Tuesday. I got bangs for the first time in my life since 3rd grade and I love them. I'm so excited, but also down cause of my grandma...can't wait til things balance out.
***UPDATE***
Well, my grandma had one surgery today and she's doing fine. The tests haven't come back yet, so we're not sure about that. BUT she does get to check out of the hospital sometime this weekend. Unfortunately she'll have to go back for a second surgery about three weeks from now.
