Just thought I'd let you know things are getting better. High school is still hard and not fun at all but better. It could always be wrose.

Here's my opinion. Derek and Casey would make a very cute couple because of the whole opposites attract thing if they weren't step-siblings. But they are and that's the thing. I know that situations like that are becoming more acceptable but I'm kind of old fashioned. To me, dating your step-brother or step-sister-or anyone in your step-family for that matter-is just like dating your brother or sister-or a family member-and dating a family member is just wrong. There are billions of people in the world. Why date your family? You would think that you'd want to control the one aspect of your life that you can and I just can't fathom why you would want to tie yourself down to a family member.

Also, Derek and Casey wouldn't make sense. They totally hate each other in the beginning of the series-I know you can be wrong about someone but not that wrong. When Casey and Sam got together, Derek and George told Sam that best friend's siblings were off-limits and step-siblings counted. Now he's going to date her? It just doesn't make any sense. If your best friend's step-siblings are off-limits, why would you date your step-sibling? There's a contradiction.

I know that Derek/Casey supporters are under the assumption that Derek and Casey wouldn't break up but they would. Teenagers are still trying to figure out who they are and once a teenager gets in a relationship, it's that times two. Here's the truth about teenage relationships. Nothing lasts forever/: and you shouldn't expect anything more. You think you know what you want but you don't. Think about it. How many teenage relationships actually last? You think you love someone but you don't. You think when two teenagers break up after "loving each other" that their hearts are broken but they're not. And that's just truth of the cold cruel world.

Think about a Derek and Casey break-up. For two people who have no family relationship, break-ups are hard enough. The difference is with a person you have no family relationship with you can say good bye and that be the end of it. You don't even have to try to be friends with them. If two step-siblings broke up, they would have to see each other and that makes it more likely that they would get back together and make the same mistake again. Not only would it be hard on Derek and Casey but it would be hard for the entire family.

I believe that every show has a "Ross and Rachel." Ross and Rachel are a couple from Friends and they have a lot of trouble getting together and staying together. They're the couple everyone wants to see together in the end.

Charmed-Piper and Leo
Reba-Van and Cheyenne

Reba McEntire is an amazing red-headed actress with the voice of an angel. She can sing, she can act and she has so many amazing talents. When I get older, I hope to be like her. I've never heard a song and not wanted to be able to sing like her....

rebachick94 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could rebachick94 possibly have for not rating a single film?
