i will be PCless for a while actually posting this from my parents laptop stole a shot since they are away out.I kinda stopped playing games recently im only playing about 1-2h a week in total, but PS3's on as its my main source of internet LOL.

Been to about 5 gigs since my last blog all local and all were awesome, few extremely good bands in our scene and one is fronted by a good friend of mine and they have a style like TBS/Paramore/NFG and another one which is balls out death metal nearly broke my arm at their gig the numpty i am.Also partying and getting ready for College at the end of the month and i got close to a girl i kinda fell out with a while back think everythings getting slightly better and im getting a pop-punk band off the ground right now im on the bass and im getting an Epiphone thunderbird instead of a P-bass cause really punks about sticking out and its a perfect thing as its tone is kick ass on green day songs aswell as holding up when im jamming with mates who play metal xd

Can I ask the name of the Death Metal band? I've only ever heard of one Metal band from Falkirk district, and they're a Black Metal band. I'm keen to support the local scene.

The Thunderbird bass isn't a bad choice, but I hold the opinion that '80's made Japanese basses have superior quality to almost every bass you can buy in the shops, especially the Mexican Fenders. They're a lot less expensive as well. You could pick up a decent '80's Vox or Yamaha for less than £80

@Denny_Carmassi

the bands called Purposed Failed.It sounded death metal to me due to their sound but there was hints of Metalcore cant really remember all too much cause i had a cracker of a hangover and i got nailed in the back in one of the pits.

But i tried a BC Rich in Revolution music in Falkirk and i loved it but it didnt fit for my style and was £300 :S just gonna keep hunting till i find a bass i really like and can stick with.

Revolution used to have a good Gould bass in, but I haven't been in there in a while.

Cash Converters can often have some decent basses. I got a 5-string Yamaha there for £80. I was in there the other day and there wasn't anything spectacular, but I'd look there and look there often!

@Denny_Carmassi

i was eying a BC Rich Warlock in their and i just randomly was gifted a Jim Deacon P-Bass copy cause she was cleaning her house needs a restring though decent sound off it and has a diffrent tone from my Aria IGB35 xD

But Revolution still has the BC Rich virgo, an Aria and a sweet looking red Fender P-Bass no price tag on it thoug to tell if it was MIM or MIA.

But stocks pretty weak not checked RA Music today never had time.
