Hello all, havent blogged since 2007 and with Australia Day coming up I thought why not. At Christmas a family member got a chasers dvd and I've been hooked ever since.
If you still don't know who the chasers are think comedians who dressed up as Osama Bin Laden at the Apec Meetings. Here is there remake of I still call Australia Home which is extremely revelant with all the Australians who move overseas every year.
I still call Australia 51% Home
I've been to cities that never close down.
From New York to Rio and old London Town.
But no matter how far our offshore jobs go.
The share price is sure to grow.
Goodbye Australia, we're moving abroad.
Replacing Neil Perry with a chef from Lahore.
And the inflight entertainment will be in Mandarin.
More kung foo and less Kath n Kim.
All the Qantas workers fearful for their jobs.
Please head to the Centrelink lines.
Cause after the takeover you're over.
Now only foreign girls can shag Ray Feines.
And someday this choir will be outsourced too.
And Qantas will be called the Asian Kangaroo.
And I'll thank the cheap labor when our profits have grown.
I still call Australia I still call Australia I still call Australia..... 51 percent home.
Heres the link if you want to actually here the song for yourself.

In other news I have recently found out that I will become an auntie in August. I have also started watching Moonlight and Dexter.
Moonlight is about a vampire but unlike Angel this vampire doesnt burn up in sunlight and can only be killed by being set on fire. The best difference between Angel and Moonlight is the fact that a vampire doesnt need to be cursed by gypsies to have a soul. The vampires can now interact with humans without biting them. My favourite character personally is Josef.
Dexter is basically another crime show except the twist is that the main character is a complete phycopath. It's not for everybody but I've found it intriguing enough. Best way to see it in Australia if you don't have pay tv is through youtube.
I'll leave you with David B (Bones and Angel) and Jensen Ackles (Supernatural)
