I have been on a spending spree as of late. Mainly because I got a paycheck last Tuesday and since my tuition bill has been paid, I got to keep the entire check.
I placed a couple of orders last week. First I ordered six band shirts from Rockabilia. The bands whose shirts I will be donning shortly are Decrepit Birth, Emperor, Carcass, Cephalic Carnage, Unearth, and Skeletonwitch. They should be arriving on Monday. I also placed an order to ESPN Shop where I ordered two pairs of shoes (a pair of Circa and Etnies) and a Fox hat. That order should be here by mid week. Then today I went to Kohls (don't hate) and bought two pair of jeans and 5 pairs of shorts. Tomorrow I am going to the mall to look for another hat and sunglasses. It's all stuff that I need and it has been a while since I restocked my wardrobe.
On Thursday while at Target shopping for dorm supplies, I stumbled into the video game section. Now I had no intent on buying a game, but I ended up walking out of the store with two games. I found a copy of the Platinum Hits edition of Gears of War (the two disc version with both map packs, gamer pics, and a few themes) for $19. Then in their Xbox 360 section I found a copy of Gears of War 2 for $39. It didn't take me long to decide to buy them. I've only been playing Horde mode and Training Grounds on Gears 2. I like in Training Grounds how you can create games with bots, something that a lot of games are missing these days. I know that the big focus is on online play these days, but I don't think bot games should go to the way side. There are still plenty of people (I assume I'm not alone) who enjoy playing against bots. Since I have two weeks before I move back to school and I am not working, I'll finish Gears of War (I have owned it before) and start Gears of War 2 this week.
That is all, for now.
