Breaking News: Jonathan Jackson, the original "Lucky Spencer" on General Hospital is coming back to the show... as "Lucky Spencer." The role is currently played by Greg Vaughn, but news reports say he decided to leave. Hmm, wondering about that since he was so adamant recently to refute reports that he was dropped to recurring status. In any case, welcome back Jonathan!

They have changed the person who's played that character so much. Good to see the original come back though.

mejustjustin: Yes, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Although I almost always am happy to see the original actor/actress in the roles, although I did like Greg Vaughn as Lucky.

I'm actually not very happy about this! don't get me wrong, I love JJ as Lucky back in the day, but he seems too young to play the part now. GV had made the part his own. Guess I'll have to wait and see if JJ can bring back the magic he once brought to GH.

Sherasbear: I agree with you. Greg has made the part his own. His portrayal of Lucky is completely different than JJ's was. However, JJ was a real good actor so I trust they'll write good story for him. I'm guessing he won't be a copy anymore and will do something else. We'll have to wait and see.

nickel2006: No, that's Joshua Jackson. He's on the FOX show, "Fringe." Jonathan Jackson was in the movie "Tuck Everlasting".
