So on Thursday i got Mass Effect and NFS Pro Street through the post, but Kane and Lynch was missing, but i thought meh, it will probably come tomorrow, but i was wrong, and its staurday now ancd it still hasnt arrived - i finally get a weekend off and the dam game i really wanted hasnt come. This wouldnt be to bad if the other 2 games didnt completely suck. NFS has destroyed everything that made the predessesors good, the graphics and car damage is sweet but thats not why i bought the game, the races are boring and bull, its alot less exiciting whens theres no cops or traffic.

Mass Effect in my opinion is also complete garbage, i dont get why sci fi games get such high scores on this website. The gun play is so weak in this game its not even funny. There was one part where you go to this bar and the guns are so unaccurate i had to use a sniper rife!!!! A SNIPER RIFLE IN A BAR FOR GOD SAKES!!! Im on this uncharted planet now where this big creature comes from under gound and basically i last 3 seconds before it kills my veichle, BARF, these 2 games will be going back sometime in the next 2 weeks.

Assasins Creed and Ratchet and Clank on the other hand are great games, no, fantastic games and im honestly thinking about giving Assasins Creed a 10/10 :O, we'll see. Im getting really nervous about tuesday, i hope it doesnt hurt to bad, apart from that all is good. So whats up with you guys?

UPDATE: So i literally got Kane And Lynch less than 3 minutes after i wrote this blog, what postman delivers mail at 12am!!! Ill have his job lol.

I wasn't expecting too much from Mass Effect... its like Halo: it got REALLY over hyped. However, have you ever played the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic? If not, you should probably play that before Mass Effect seeing how 1) SW:KOTOR was fantastic and 2) Mass Effect is just a bigger copy of that game. Also my man, Soldier of Fortune: Payback's controls are really weird but the gunplay as well as multiplayer is a lot of fun.. thought Id give you the heads up. And Blacksite (don't know if oyu played it yet) kind of sucks. The story and gunplay is pretty weak and the multiplayer is trash.

yea i wasnt going to get blacksite based on the teaser demo, but demo 2 has kind of impressed me, im not expecting greatness but it should be fun. How do you mean the controls are weird?

Mass Effect's combat isn't perfect, but at least it's better than KOTOR's "hold down the A button and hope for the best".

Mass Effect has been hyped for too long, that's what happens when an entire game is measured up after a couple of screen shots.

Sucks about Mass Effect, i was thinking about getting it but now reading that its completely out of my mind and i was never going to get NFS cuz EA has pretty much taken away all the fun out of the NFS franchise. I havnt been up to much except i beat Half Life 2 and Half Life 2: Episode One. Half Life 2 is probably the best game ive ever played, sad to see its over

Strange...seems I'm the only one in here that thinks Mass Effect is awesome...and it is...once you learn how to play it. I'm gonna guess the reason you were so innacurate with the guns is because you weren't trained for them....depending on the class you choose, you'll only be skilled certain with certain weapons. If you choose a weapon you're untrained in it's basically useless to you. Oh well lol. You also gotta' remember that it's an RPG...not a shooter.
