There's a new Lost episode tonight, and I'd really wanted to do a special episode in preparation for that... just to realize I hadn't yet put up the second half of my Pilot. Which is just as well, because if there's anything to know about me, it's that such a thing as a "deadline" is not in my vocabulary. So don't expect regular updates! Instead, expect irregular ones, lurking around the corner... just when you think the Wasted is a lost cause, they pounce out and dazzle you with their ridiculous quality... and length.

Cue the shocking flash-forward to the end of the episode, utilized in order to keep you watching even if the stuff in the middle is pretty boring: We closed the last Blog episode's entry with a foreshadowing promise that I'd share some stuff about my personal project, and that much is true! But now I pull the rug from under you and cut back to the boring intro segment.

So chances are you've probably read a bunch of my reviews already, otherwise you wouldn't be here. You're wondering, "What kind of lunatic writes so much?!"

I know this because there is a computer chip implanted in your brain. That, and I've got ESP.

Well, this particular (new and improved) brand of lunatic spends his free time watching awesome shows such as the ones listed to your right; listening to rock... and rock and roll... and indie rock (among other inanimate, non-mineral based substances; I am an equal opportunity listener) - anything from The Beatles to the Arcade Fire, from Queen to Oasis, and everything in between!

I'm running a little low on steam, so I'll present a few filler trivia facts to drag this on longer than it should be:

And now, with 8 minutes left on the clock, a little on my personal project: it's a graphic novel. I'd much rather call it a comic book, because that's what they're supposed to be called, but if I do that then people think it's about superheroes (which it kind of is) and stuff blowing up (well something blows up) and rad sound-effects like 'Kapow!' (the best I've got so far is a ringing cell phone), so being the sort of "get to the point" person that I am, obviously I'd hate to confuse anyone, so I decided to settle on "graphic book." Or "comic novel." So far I'm only working on the script and little to none of the artwork is done, but I'm sure I'll throw something out every once in a while.

And seeing as how I'm working with a writer's block that would make Hank Moody proud, it seems appropriate that you, my loyal cult audience, are in the know as to what will have me so pissed off every once in a while! In the meantime, we're 3 minutes away from national holiday hour, so the lights are being turned off and the volume is being turned on. Cabin Fever awaits.

Tune in later tonight for a super-size review with a side order of fries! I mean Blog.
