12. Burn Notice

Burn Notice is a show i watched just because of Bruce campbell it really did take a while for me to really like this show and a couple of rewatches of eps. but the show is about "After fleeing a Nigerian operation blown apart by the sudden and unexplained non-cooperation of his U.S. contact, Westen finds himself in his hometown of Miami, Florida, attended to by his ex-girlfriend, Fiona Glenanne, but abandoned by all his normal intelligence contacts, under continuous surveillance with his personal assets frozen. Extraordinary efforts to reach his U.S. government handler eventually yield only a grudging admission that someone powerful wants him "on ice" in Miami; if he leaves the city he will be hunted down and taken into custody, whereas by staying there he can remain relatively free. Consumed by the desire to find out why he has been burned, and by whom, Westen goes to work as an unlicensed private investigator/spy/ for anyone in town who can pay him any money in order to fund his personal investigation into his own situation as a blacklisted agent. Throughout the series Westen battles and outwits an array of mobsters, soldier of fortunecon artists, contract killers, professional thieves, drug traffickers, sex traffickers, deadbeat dads, arms dealers, kidnappers and war criminals. The series makes frequent use of jury rigging, with the characters improvising devices to do the job of more expensive, harder-to-obtain items." Burn Notice is a great show, with a great cast. The story is awesome and well acted by the actors and Jeffery Donovan who plays the main character michael Western at first wasn't a fan but then he grew on me and he is so cool, this show has some cool stories and the action scenes are awesome but Bruce Campbell is in it so you have to watch it.

Bruce Campbell is the reason i started watching it and he is awesome in this show, he kind of makes show in the way, he bring the comedy and brings his own stgle and bring his own stuff and some great action scene even though he is getting on in age but to me he will always be ASH.

cool action scenes in this show, just some great actioin scenes including shootouts and breaking into places its awesome and every season finale there has been a big explosion which is just awesome to watch.

overall i love this show and should be watched just for Mr. Bruce but he is not the only good thing, this is a good and with a great story and very interesting and the facts about spys. also could cameo's in this show i have noticed really looking forward to more.

Also been playing some Games first there is GTA: Lost & damned the first dlc from GTA4. finished this today and got to say it was good but not the best. i really liked Johnny as character i have a character like him in a new story im writing abd i really liked the ending. it took me a while to get into it but some things were good some weren't - 7.5/10. Then there is Gay tony which i just started today and so far im liking it better then Lost but not very far into it but i am really liking it.

So i got Assassins creed 2 today the black edition for the Ps3 (but can't play it) but i really can't wait to just looks awesome but got to say the figurine is awesome one of the best i have got with game in the special editions. but it was worth ther extra money.

So for the year im done buying games in store so time to import games like Left 4 dead 2 becuase we got a edited version also found this game tropico 3 i want to import oh and there is the god of war collection plus wouldn't mind importing the pokemon remake of gold aswell so might have to that but some things have to wait got to start buying christmas presnts.

upcoming blog: games im excited for next year so im working on that i hope i can post that soon just doing my reasearch on some upcoming games since i bought my major important last game of the year AC2.

So i watched Monsters Inc the other night and i havent watched that movie since i saw it on dvd in 2001 and wasn't a big fan and watched it on the weekend and got to say pixar is awesome i really did like it, really good (back into 2001 i think i just didn't get it) everything pixar does is just great. So watching Monsters Inc i thought whta are my fav pixar films so i made a list of top 5 of my fav pixar movies.

1. The Incredibles - Its an awesome film, the characters and pixars take on superhero genre, and one cool villian i wish the final scene not so great.

2. Toy Story - first time i went to the movies was to see this and as kid i thought it was amazing (i even bought a toy story pencil case) but even today it lives up and still is funny.

3. WALL-E - This film just was incredible it was amazing for this movie to have scenes with no Dialouge which was incredible which is aimed at kids and i love WALL-E.

4. A Bugs Life - I really loved this movie when it came i even bought the PSONE game i really liked the characters and one bad ass villian.

5. Toy Story 2 - what a great follow up from the first one and more on buzz and woody, its great to find out where woody came from and going to the toy store was awesome and seeeing the different characters.

Metal Gear Solid Film is in the works and one day it will come out, but recently Mr. Paul W.s Anderson siad he wants to direct it and i say "No No No No and a big fat No" i don't mind resdient evil films but they are just fun action/zombie movies but The Metal Gear Solid film has to be epic and i know Mr. Anderson can't make a epic MGS film.

Final Fantasy 13 got a date, March 9th so thats cool so march is going to be a good month of games, i think God Of war 3 also comes out in march so yeah next year is like another good year but a good to start with some awesome games.

DVD'S this week to watch

The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas - i have been looking forward to watching this, i have heard some great things about this.

Knowing - i have been very interested watching this the idea behind look like it will interest me.

Seraphim Falls - looks like a funwestern to watch.

Syriana - a great cast and i have been meaning to watch this for a while so i am very intersted in it.

Upcoming Blog

going to do a blog on the games i am excited for next year so expect that soon but don't know when.

Modern warfare 2 is out (i can't belive how much i saw on that game on twitter after it came out) this game is super hyped and kind of starting to regret asking for it but i still want it. hopefully by the time i get it the hype has died down and im trying to not read spoilers but i tell you what its hard to do i have read stuff i really did not want to know. Also i have been thinking about getting a new PS3 because i don't want to keep sending My PS3 back to get repaired im just going to get one of the new slim ones after Christmas. So i will still have my 60gb one as a spare.

Also watched Metalocalypse – s3 Premier and how brutal it was. Its just so great to have this show back to a cliffhanger conclusion and to find out whats going to happen to Dethklok its just awesome. How they bring themes in whats going in the world today and what happens to there manger. Then you have someone from there past trying to destroy its just awesome. Ending was cool and show what is coming for them this season looks like its going to be brutal. 2 shows i download every week (south park and the Simpsons) must watch shows on tv are Burn Notice and the Simpsons. Also i recoreded the first part of Dead Set and it was great a british tv show that is really when zombies take over the world ? but with big brother people not knowing is really cool idea i had a dream about the same topic a few years ago and really thought about so it will be cool to see where the show goes.So i watched the Latest South Park ep it was cool the idea with the smufs was cool and eric taking on wendy was just funny just some great stuff and making fun of Avatar just great stuff got to love south park.

So i finally saw Star Trek (2009) and being not a fan of series i have really hated the star trek movies i wasn't expecting much but woah it was way better then i thought. Even the director impressed with me who hasn't really impressed me in the past even with his produced stuff but this was a great scfi movie and best star trek movie i have seen. The cast they got for this film is epic, Simon Pegg is awesome and Chris pine is just epic and the heroes guy was good as spock but awesome a great story but the standout to me was Eric Bana as the Villian Nero was just epic and was so cool to see, Great film – 8.5/10

So i saw the Clash Of The Titans Trailer and thought it was okay but i know everyone is loving it but i am not, i don't see it but the big scorpions who bang in time for the music is just stupid but the scorpions just looks cool but am hoping this movie is good. Also saw the Kick - Ass Teaser it was alright but im still excited for this film, the teaser won't sell but the idea behind this film just sounds awesome and good comic book film.
