Picked up Playstation 3 couple of days along with Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted, finally last night I opened up the ps3, I'm still amazed that it doesn't even come with component cables I understand not coming with HDMI being that they can charge you upwards of 100 dollars for the playstation brand cables andmake lot of extra cash from people that dontKnowpaying over 30 dollars for hdmi cables is way to much but come on component cables cost next to nothing especially for sony buying them in bulk. I would just use component for my ps3 sinceI only have a 720p tv anyway but whenI have my Wii and my 360 fighting over that one component input already,I don't want to add another contender since I have 2 hdmi input on my tv so might as well use them.
So I ordered two hdmi cables on line for 15 dollars and the should be here by the end of next week. For now that ps3 is hooked up with composite cables and looks like total ass. Only thing ive done is set up the wireless and basic settings havent even opened the games yet because im not going to play anything on it tellI get my HD cables.
Composite looks like **** with everything on an hdtv even the Wii is like night and day difference. Wii is a blurry mess on my HDTV using Composite
