Wow, I just played one awesome game: Patapon

I worked my ass out to create a japanese PlayStation Store account so I could play the demo by February 7, but the game came out to the NA Store on Feb 14, so I didn't have to wait too long to actually understand what I was playing.

I have to say, this one is an addictive game! The song keeps coming back in my head: Pata-pata-pata-PON! Pon-pon-pata-pon! Chaka-Chaka-Pata-Pon! I blazed through the demo and noticed some RPG elements as you can equip different armor and weapons for your little Patapon army. The rhytm-based controls are awesome, it was actually easy to get through the stages, but I have no doubt the full game will be more of a challenge.

And the full games comes out at 19.99$, c'mon, that's a steal! Oh, and beating the demo will let you have a saved game data that will allow you to start the full game with an exclusive weapon (a nice long spear).

Everyone should at least try the demo, I just fell in love with the game.

Pata-pata-pata-PON!

Yeah, I'm crazy enough to go shopping of Boxing Day! Here's what I got

Games:

- Ratchet & Clank (PS2) I loved the PSP R&C game, I'm a fan of the series and I still needed the original, for cheap...

- Gitaroo Man Lives! (PSP) One of the best music rhytm games on PS2 made for PSP. This game is extremely short, but it's amazingly fun also! Best thing since Guitar Hero, but portable lol.

- Twisted Metal: Head On (PSP) I got this for 9$, so it was a no-brainer, I played with it a bit, and it's as fun as TM:Black was, except more light-hearted.

- Sega Genesis Collection (PSP) 28 Sega Genesis games!? For 18$ in Wal-Mart's bargain bin!? argh! I suck at pretty much every game on there, but I never had a Sega Genesis, so it's kinda cool to have this. Sonic games, Phantasy Star games, Golden Axe games, Shinobi III, Ristar, Virtua Fighter 2, Swords of Vermillion, I cango on and on!

So another year, another Christmas! Here's what I got:

I'm really happy about my new games, Super Mario Galaxy is one of the best games I ever played and the CV is awesome because I'll get to unlock SotN by beating the game!

The only bad thing is that I didn't get the PSP-2000 headphones, just the regular ones for the old PSP, because some incompetent moron employee told my parents the PSP-2000 accessories were the old ones. The poor guy probably never even saw a PSP. I'll have to take it back to the store. I'll punch him in the eye if I find him. They'd really hire anyone for the Christmas rush lol. But anyway, I still got nice stuff. Sure I had more last year, but this time the parents decided to go wild on our house's renovations, I guess having a nicer place to live in is a cool present also!

Well, I think I might go shopping today, get a few games and cds at crazy low price. Might have to bring a baseball bat, people are crazy at this time of the year.
