Well, I am exhausted and have no time to myself but I am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. As for an update, medical tests came back with positive results even tho I will probably need surgery in the future. I can deal with that!

After months and months of looking for a full time job to take the place of 2 of my 3 jobs, today I was offered a full time position. I am thrilled! The mom in me is sad because I will no longer be picking the boys up from school but on the up side, I won't have to work any more nights and weekends! I start on April 7th.

Taylor has been in drivers education classes the last 3 weeks. I can't believe he will be 16 next month and able to drive this summer. He is growing up so fast!

We will be heading down to Indianapolis for another state championship game -- this time The Bishop Luers Knights basketball team. (Taylor's high school) As some of you might recall, we followed our football team all the way to the state title this year and now the basketball team is trying. Go Knights!

Even tho it is suppose to be spring, I saw snow tonight and got to drive home in freezing rain. Wanting those spring flowers to lighten up my wintery misery.

I will try to be on more now that I have some of my nights and weekends back! Got to catch up on my ER stuff before it comes back -- hopefully bringing my John Carter back!

Happy Easter to everyone!

Hey Cindy, it's so great to see you!

Glad the wait is over for the results, and all good? Sorry about the harsh weather, I'll send some of our Australian sunshine your way immediately. Happy Easter to you too!

Thanks for the sunshine order! Wonder how long it will take to get here. As for the results, no cancer so that is awesome news. I will still need surgery at some point for a hysterectomy so we will see. Feels great to be back!

Great news, Cindy about the new job. Good for you!

I knew a kid from Bishop Luers wayyyy back in the 70's anmed Tom. Good guy.

Happy Easter to all of you, tell Taylor hi for me and both hands on the wheel, no cell phones!!!!

Good to hear from you, Cindy! Sorry to hear about the surgery, but thank goodness it's not cancer. The weather here (in KC) isn't too bad with sun and no rain or snow-I feel like the anomaly of this midwestern wintry mess. I can telepathically send you some spring cheer, however. Hmm?

Happy Easter!!!

Hooray! Congratulations on the new job. Having your weekends and evenings with the family will be a very pleasant change! It's good to hear from you, and tell Taylor way to go on the driving!

Glad the job is working out. The boys will get used to you not picking them up. Even though you might not. I'm so thankful it wasn't cancer. I had a hysterectomy a few years ago. I'll PM you some more about it. Congratulations to the Kights! Hey, today turned out to be a nice day afterall.

Sorry about the surgery Cindy At least they've identified the problem and are able to deal with it I hope that it's not too hard a process for you, I'm here if you need to talk *hugs*
Here you can't drive till 17 and then you have to pay for private lessons - about 22 pounds (44 dollars) per lesson with about 40 minimum needed, plus the cost of a licence, and test!
Happy Easter

Happy Easter, Cindy, and what a blessing that the tests came back with fairly manageable results! Congratulations on the new job, too; I think having evenings and weekends with the kids will be a very welcome change, especially as summer approaches and it gets lighter and warmer (and it will get lighter and warmer, I promise ). I'm not sure how I feel about Taylor driving... Seriously, though, he is such a thoughtful and reasonable person that I think he will be naturally careful and measured.

Tommy, I gave Taylor the message. He just smiled. I hope that means he is listening to you! I will be working at Star Financial Bank and it is 2 minutes from my house! Very nice to be that close to home! In case you haven't heard, Bishop Luers won the State Championship in basketball yesterday. Very heart stopping game at times! There is only one other school in the state that has managed to pull out a state championship in both football and basketball in one year - and now we make #2! Very exciting time for the Knights! God's blessings to you and TW this Easter!

Miranda, Thanks for the telepathy of spring. I think it worked! Today is is still only 38 degrees but the sun is shining! It looks beautiful and so refreshing. Thanks for the well wishes. Hope to be around more now that things are calming down in my life!

Rochelle, Thanks! We have had a long road to get to this point, haven't we? I am very sad to have to give the notice to the people I work with at the university and I know I will cry but this is the path that has been given me by God and I am go thankful. Can't believe my little boy is going to be driving. I will give him your message!
God's blessings to you and your beautiful family.

IM, Your PM really helped ease my mind. Thanks! We are so happy for the Knights! Big accomplishment for our school. I will be working at the Star Financial Bank service center here in Waynedale - about 3 blocks from my house! Isn't this Easter day weather just perfect?! Beautiful and well needed! Have a wonderful Easter!

Shana, I have so been blessed by God with my health news and the new job. I have heard from a lot of people telling me how much better I will feel after surgery so that will be a real bonus! Taylor's drivers education classes cost $350 for the whole 3 week course. Big price difference! How can you guys afford to drive over there??? We are going to get his drivers permit on Wednesday after he completes the course on Tuesday. He is really excited but really nervous. I'm sure that has a lot to do with riding with me "back seat driving" with his dad at the wheel!! Hope you are having a wonderful Easter!

Raven, Yeah, having health scares put a lot of things into perspective. I am very thankful that God has His arms of protection around me right now. I am really thankful that this job was offered too. We love to camp and it was going to be really hard for us to go with me working weekends. Still can't believe myself that Taylor is going to be driving. He is very responsible but it is always the "other" guy you have to worry about. And trust me, I will be worrying!
Hope you all are having a happy Easter!
