Hari raya aidilfitri is celebrated on the 1st day of the month called syawal(it's a name of a month in the muslim calender).As you all might know, or don't know, we muslims are currently fasting for almost a month now. so, we all gather together as a family or as friends to eat and to appologise each other on this day after a hard work of fasting for the past one month.

We usually decorate our hoses with the ketupats(it's this square thing made out of leaves and you put rice in it) which i learned how to do yesterday. and we also serve cakes and biscuits and all types of delicious. LIke my grandmother, she only makes this thing called rendang once a year which is on Aidilfitri day.It's so delicious....mmm... my mouths watering already....

We also wear our tradisional clothes called the baju kurung or the kebaya for the gals and a baju melayu.thats what the guys wear. My baju kurung this year is pink.So, if any of you guys want to visit malaysia these days,visit it on aidilfitri day.the gatherings of not only the muslims but people from other cultures celbrating it with us is a great sight to see.
