So I just saw the Nightmare on Elm Street trailer and I am absolutely awed at the direction they are taking the series. Also, I am incredibly excited about No More Heroes 2 Desperate Struggle
It seems to me like all we are getting this fall are sequels. I am not necessarily saying that is a bad thing but there are very few IP's being released, besides of course Brutal Legend. No idea. Just seems like imagination is not really running rampant this season.
It shocked us all. Tetsuo: The Iron Man. The cyber punk bizarre fest that changed japanese cinema forever. Several years later Tsukamoto wowed us again with Tetsuo II: Body Hammer. A change and departure from the first outing but still amazing in its own right. Well, here in 2009 the Tsukamoto project known as Bullet Man has taken off it's mask. It is none other than the third entry in the Tetsuo series now being known as The Tetsuo Project.It will be seen at Cannes and if my dreams come true, and they will, we will have another masterpiece. I can NOT wait.
