I was very impressed by this movie. The plot line was excellent. An ex-colonel who lost his sight while in the service is looking for a way out of what he believes is a miserable existence, and he takes a prep school kid named Charlie along with him for the ride. Not only does Colonel Slade learn something about himself and ultimately give life a second chance, Charlie Simms also learns something from this man. I was semi-impressed with Chris O'Donnell in this film as a supporting actor. This is undoubtedly the first of many films he would come to be in, and he did a good job of establishing himself. Some could argue that he needed to work on his emotions in this film, but I think his reaction to Slade pulling that gun from his bag was reflective of Charlie's personality. Props to all of the other actors in the film, without whom we would have never been shown the many shades of Colonel Slade.

I had to watch this film a couple of times to get everything in. It is one of those films you really need to concentrate on in order to make sure you don't have any plot holes in your mind when you go to see the final installment of this series. I enjoyed the adventurous spirit of this movie, and the boldness of Elizabeth Swan. Keira Knightly is a gem in this role. She seems to have a great chemistry with Johnny Depp (Captain Jack Sparrow "savvy?") and Orlando Bloom (Will Turner). Bringing in the character of Davy Jones was excellent, but I don't know if bringing back Barbosa was smart in the end. That is the only part where I got confused. I will probably still wonder why he isn't still dead when I see the last movie. Four stars for this one.

Sandra Bullock was excellent as well. Props to the casting director on this film. I also thought it interesting to have Bullock's character's past collide with the current murder case she's working on (I think her past experience and the present goings-on were related somehow, right?). Ryan Gosling is a promising young actor.

This is the best Batman film yet. While the others were enjoyable, Batman Begins doesn't go over the top to achieve the storyline. Christian Bale was excellent in his role as a young Bruce Wayne, trying very hard to deal with the murder of his parents, and his quest to restore Gotham to the city his father worked so hard to keep honest. Bringing Micheal Caine in as Alfred was a great move by the casting director. He has perfected his role in a couple of other Batman movies, and is a perfect choice. This series needed a reboot, and Batman Begins was it.

This is one of Robin Williams' best movies. He is an incredibly versatile actor, bringing drama to a comedy, and vice versa. It tells a great story about the situation during the Vietnam war, and of a man who is fighting for freedom of speech on a radio station at an army base. Many films have been made about Vietnam, but this one is probably the best.

Not Seagal's best effort, but it's still got a cool plot. It's more of a Seagal-kicks-everyone's-ass kind of film. DMX saves the film with his role as Leon Rollins (I forget his other name). The plot was interesting and definitely well-played, but...

The plot was interesting and definitely well-played, but there are plot twists everywhere that just create too much drama (so-and-so is bad? I never knew!). As a Seagal fan, I have seen better.

This is a great film for Jim Carrey. As far as his films go, I can pick and choose which ones are really worth watching. This is one that I had to have for my DVD collection. I like the premise of the movie, and I enjoyed seeing Bruce Nolan and how his character changes throughout the film. The on-air atrocities at the TV station were hilarious. Morgan Freeman was excellent in his role as well. I couldn't picture anyone else in that role but him. Jennifer Aniston adds some spark to the plot as well. Altogether it's a great addition to Jim Carrey's filmography.

I enjoyed this sequel more than most. From my experience with sequels, the original movie is better -- by far. Bad Boys II is definitely an exception. I love action, and Will Smith is good at dispensing it to audiences. He is very versatile as a singer and actor. The plot in this film was very good. I think the drug lord thing is overused, but it was a good idea to use Ecstasy instead of a drug like Heroine or Cocaine, as most movies do. Having done a 10-page paper on Ecstasy in high school, I know the effect that E can have on a person, and the scene where Mike and Marcus are at their boss' house, and Marcus is hopped up on E is accurate. When you ingest ecstasy, it lowers your inhibitions (Marcus was all touchy-feely and stuff). The overheating part is also true. Bad Boys II is definitely a must-have for anyone's DVD collection.

It could be that I went to see this at midnight, but I didn't enjoy this movie at all. Don't get me wrong. I love comedies. I am very picky about the ones I actually enjoy. I like the plot and the idea of D.B. Cooper's gold, but from my experience with Seth Green movies, the plot widdles away into nothingness, and the viewer is left with nothing but three guys trying to make you laugh. I've seen better comedies than this.

A movie like "the prestige" can possibly be a good movie -- if you have the energy to focus on what is going on. If you can watch this movie without distraction, I strongly advise it. If you are distracted, I guarantee you will not be able to remember what is going on. I got lost very easily, and I had no distractions at all. I was dangerously close to falling asleep in the middle of the movie. The film itself is okay, but I've seen better movies with this kind of premise. Props to Christian Bale. Nice acting.

Wilson has some comedic talent, but his latest movies don't do anything for me comedically. He has great comedic timing, and in some films, it seems like every word out of his mouth is meant to be funny. He has played a few serious roles too, and done a fair job. I loved him in Behind Enemy Lines. That was a great film. Other than that, I would rate Owen Wilson mediocre. He was great in Wedding Crashers, and I liked his character best in The Royal Tenenbaums. I would have to see more of him before I can give him a thorough review.

I enjoy watching Eddie Murphy's films. He is a great comedian and actor. I love watching the Beverly Hills Cop series over and over. What sets him apart, though, is his ability to play several different characters in his movies. In the Nutty Professor, he played at least five characters, and his most recent movie, Norbit, was good too. I didn't know he was the Mr. Wong until the end. His ability to wear costumes like that is one of a kind. I can't wait to see more from him. Murphy has a great comedic timing as well. I can't wait to see more from him.

A great example is Bruce Almighty. His character makes us laugh, but we can also get serious for a few moments in between the laughter, as Bruce Nolan experiences some changes in his life. He was also great in The Truman Show and The Majestic. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a lot more from Mr. Carrey.

This is one of my all time favorite films. I wrote a paper on this film for a college film class. The film delves into the psyche of a man who has pushed away his Native American heritage since his father's death. The actual events that this movie was inspired by are evident as the film progresses. The government preys on an innocent man to cover up their own mistakes. To get this film I had to buy it off the internet, because I could not find it in stores anymore. It is a great film. If you are so inclined, "Incident at Oglala" is another excellent film that ties in with this movie.
