I have a blu-ray player, (PS3), and i was wondering if i should get a HD-DVD player?

Well i'm probally going to sound pretty stupid now but dont PS3's play DVD's so what do you need a HD- DVD player for?

i would say no!... only because you already have the blu-ray.... blu-ray has better quality anyway..... the only difference is that there are different dvds on HD-DVD.....
o and supergohan blu-ray can only play regular DVD's not HD-DVD

Well it depends. There are several options:
1. You can buy the HD-DVD player and spend all that money. 2. You can just not buy HD-DVDs and buy regular DVDs and Blu-Ray discs.
3. Or you can mod your PS3 to play HD-DVDs which could possibly end in a spark going off, a gigantic inferno inside your PS3 and the inconsistent ending of playforprides372's PS3 as we know it (I don't recommend this option).
The choice is up to you.
