I'm pretty excited because my favorite band has reunited.  The Smashing Pumpkins played their first show in almost 7 years on May 22nd in Paris.  They have a new album coming out on July 10th and I can't wait.  Unfortunately only 2 of the 4 original members are on board for the reunion.  At least the two that have come back are the most important members, Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlain.  Their first single, "Tarantula", was released on itunes the other day and it sounded much better than Billy's solo effort that came out in 2005. 

 On a gaming note I'm still playing Twilight Princess.  I only get a couple of hours to game every week with my hectic work schedule and I'm trying to find every poe, bug, and heart before I finish the game.  I've found all of the bugs, about 40 poes, and all but 7 pieces of heart.  I'm trying to do most of it without a guide so it's going to take me a while.  I have just collected all of the mirror shards and can't wait to see what happens next!

I'm very excited this week for the beginning of the 2007 MLB season.  I'm a huge baseball fan and my favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals, won their 10th World Series title last season.  Unfortunately, for me, last night my beloved Cardinals lost to the New York Mets 6-1.  The Cardinals should be contending in the National League this year and have to be the favorite to win another NL Central title at the least.  I watch many baseball games throughout the season.  I can watch any game and be entertained. 

I have actually started liking the Toronto Blue Jays more and more since my move to Canada.  The Blue Jays have finally begun a commitment to add talent to their team and I think can contend in the AL East this year.  They have just as much firepower on offense as the Yankees and Red Sox in the AL East.  They just don't have the rotation to match the Red Sox or Yankees after their 1-2 pitchers.

How does this concern the Wii?  There is no MLB game being produced for the Wii this year and that is very disappointing.  I sincerely hope that any developer for the Wii is taking this time to perfect a game for the Wii for next season.  Below I will list my predictions for the MLB season.  Feel free to add your comments.
