Major Zero Was Right.

Remember in Snake Eater when Major Zero took his original Codename (Major Tom) from The Great Escape? Well, if you don't... In the great escape, American Soldiers tunnel out of a Nazi prison camp. Their 3 tunnels are code named are Dick, Harry, and Tom. He takes the name major tom because he thought it was the name of the tunnel they escape through, and would therefore bring him good luck, but after watching it again he realizes tom is the tunnel that is discovered before they escape, and instead changes his codename to Majo Zero. Anyway, he makes claims that it is a very interesting movie. Well, it's been on my list of movies to watch (Along with "From Russia With Love" and "The Shawshank Redemption").

I watched it, and it is literally, with no exaggeration, the best movie I have ever seen. Its the only 3 hour movie I have ever seen that doesn't drag on in ANY respect. It may be very long, but unlike other critically acclaimed movies like "The Godfather" and "Scarface" it doesnt have boring parts that tempt me to skip over. Every moment is crucial to the story and thrilling. In addition, its all based on a book that was based on a true story. Obviously some elements were changed to make a better movie, most obvious of which is the fact that the main digger is claustrophobic. Although it may be smudged in areas because of a small portion of fiction, it is by all means a perfect film. If you havent seen it, I implore you too. It's much better than "Escape From Alkatraz", and even comparable in quality to the first Season of Prisonbreak. If you watch it and don't enjoy it on any level, I cover my naked butt with balogna on my next video blog.
