So they may not be the best, in fact one would go as far to say some of them suck or are B-rate, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just because some of these games got bad reviews doesn't nessicarily mean I won't like them. Regardless, I was just given 5 B-rate games from a good friend of mine who owns xbox365.com. He gets this crap sent to him for free on a weekly basis and throws my way anything his kids can't play. So he gave me Ninety Nine Nights, Dark Sector, Stranglehold, Conflict: Denied Ops, and Just Cause.

Needless to say Ill be playing Stranglehold and Just Cause first because they got the most attention at their launches. I heard they were both pretty good, and Ive played the demo for Just Cause, which is really frickin' fun. I'm not so sure about Dark Sector and N3, but I'll probably still give them a try. I love RPGs but N3 got some pretty mixed reviews, and Dark Sector is supposed to be repetitive and only good for its graphics. Anyway, you can't complain about something you get for free, so I'll probably have most of these done by the end of the Holiday break. I honestly dont think that will be too hard, either since they're all supposed to be fairly short. But the bottom line is that I'm heartily looking forward to Just Cause, and to a slightly lesser extent Stranglehold. The rest is somewhat "Meh".

Remember in Snake Eater when Major Zero took his original Codename (Major Tom) from The Great Escape? Well, if you don't... In the great escape, American Soldiers tunnel out of a Nazi prison camp. Their 3 tunnels are code named are Dick, Harry, and Tom. He takes the name major tom because he thought it was the name of the tunnel they escape through, and would therefore bring him good luck, but after watching it again he realizes tom is the tunnel that is discovered before they escape, and instead changes his codename to Majo Zero. Anyway, he makes claims that it is a very interesting movie. Well, it's been on my list of movies to watch (Along with "From Russia With Love" and "The Shawshank Redemption").

I watched it, and it is literally, with no exaggeration, the best movie I have ever seen. Its the only 3 hour movie I have ever seen that doesn't drag on in ANY respect. It may be very long, but unlike other critically acclaimed movies like "The Godfather" and "Scarface" it doesnt have boring parts that tempt me to skip over. Every moment is crucial to the story and thrilling. In addition, its all based on a book that was based on a true story. Obviously some elements were changed to make a better movie, most obvious of which is the fact that the main digger is claustrophobic. Although it may be smudged in areas because of a small portion of fiction, it is by all means a perfect film. If you havent seen it, I implore you too. It's much better than "Escape From Alkatraz", and even comparable in quality to the first Season of Prisonbreak. If you watch it and don't enjoy it on any level, I cover my naked butt with balogna on my next video blog.

I am almost overwhelmed. I keep getting sidetracked with different games, and can't beat the ones I've already bought. It's not like it's an addictive problem or anything (that's what the crack is for), but lots of good games have been coming out this season. I still have to decide whether or not I want Fallout 3, Guitar Hero: World Tour, Fable 2, and Gears of War 2. I might not get any of them, but I really don't know for sure yet.

Mirror's Edge AND Banjo Nuts and Bolts both come out on the same day 2 weeks from now, and I know I'm getting both. I'm thinking the PS3 version of mirror's edge since banjo is only out for 360 and I don't really what you might call a robust PS3 collection. It's weird how I have so many games and so little time, esspecially now that I've started playing games I thought I was done with a while ago. I've been playing a lot of MGO lately, so if you see me online let's play a game. I'm also on the 360 version of GTA IV every now and again.

Crap! I have to keep playing LittleBigPlanet, too! If I keep up at this pace I'll never make it through Tenchu Z, Silent Hill 2, LineRider 2, Prey, Phantom Hourglass, the rest of the Half Life Episodes, or most of all Saints Row 2! Not to mention all the old-school games I bought a couple months ago that I still haven't beaten. *Shout-out to Out Of This World- SNES*. I may be in over my head here. To anyone out there who DOES NOT own every current and last gen console, KEEP IT THAT WAY. IT'S TOO MUCH FOR ONE MAN!

Rock On

pizzamanopenup must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could pizzamanopenup possibly have for not rating a single film?
