I loved Gilmore Girls. All seven seasons but the way that they ended it was terrible. Okay we get it you are an Obama fan you don't have to mention it several times and then have a newly graduated reporter covering a presidential campaign. I like the Luke part of the final two episodes and I loved the fact that towards the end Lorelai warmed up to Logan. What I didn't love is Rory harshly dumping Logan. I don't blame him for saying he wanted it all. I mean come on how many times did she complain about him being away and long distance relationships and he supports her by telling her that she should do what she wants. Then after he gets his life together and tells her that he loves her and wants to marry her she tells him she isn't ready. After she was the one that said that he was 'the one'. That is horrible. I mean they knew that there wasn't going to be another season and I know they wanted to make her all independent but she came across as selfish. It also made it seem like she never really loved him all that much. They were together for years then when he proposes and she dumps him she just moves along and days later she doesn't even seem upset. That was not the Rory character. Plus the whole April and Paul Anka bits where really too much. Are we really supposed to believe that all kids are like Rory and April. No. April in a real school wouldn't have had all of those girls come to her party. The last two episodes while touching in many ways were some of the worst episodes of the series. Some of us wanted the happy endings. Though bonus for ending the last episode the same way the first did. They should still go back and redo the last two episodes though. Really.

Okay I get it that The WB and The CW are both obsessed with K.K. from Smallville but really they need to find a better focus. I'm so tired of her always being the perfect little good girl. No matter what she does people love and protect her but someone else does something they get crucified. She is so hypocritical. I mean really she commits a handful of real crimes and everyone welcomes her back with open arms. And why did no one point out that she was a 19 year old former waitress who got pregnant then engaged to a rich man. They all act like she is someone important. She now spends her time obsessing with her ex-husband instead of doing something real. She has really turned into quite the criminal, well I'd say mastermind but you have to have a brain for that. I mean come on she has had some of the most ridiculous storylines. I really liked K.K. from a project she had done before Smallville but then I see her on this show and she was ruined for me. I mean really. Plus there is Lois who does not look like she is in her twenties. She has the wrinkles of a mid twenties if not older person. Plus why is it that Chloe never gets to date the really cute rich guys? Even her relationship with Jimmy is just kind of back burner while they dedicate how much time to Lana and Lois's personal entanglements. Come on. Though at least Chloe has a personality and job not connected to the latest boy toy like the other two. I love the whole JLA thing and they need to bring it back so that there will be some funny and action. Less Lana whining. I can't really complain about the guys on the show. They are all great though J.G. is a little creepy. Clark, Lex, Oliver, etc. are all very well played by the actors plus they have much better storylines. I just really had to get that out though. Sorry for those who read this.

There  are some good new shows this season, such as Studio 60, but then again the majority of them are horrid. The worst part is that those shows seem to be securing spots for the rest of the season. The good shows such as Studio 60 and Veronica Mars are having to fight to keep on the air. These show are great. They aren't your usuals and that is what makes them even better. You actually have to think when you watch these, but that may be why people don't seem to be watching them. I mean come on they will watch a bald guy do a bad announcers voice and give away money but they won't watch a young detective kick butt, or the behind the scenes type show Studio 60. What is the television line up coming to. They also don't give enough time to the shows. If by episode what five or six they don't have great rating they are cut. Come on it takes more time than that. Networks should wait for the others to weed out shows and then see where the numbers on their shows go. I don't know it is just sad watching what has happened to the television line up.

My Recent Reviews

I've been a big fan of A.T. since her G.H. days and have seen her in several parts the most recent being The Russell Girl which was probably one of the best performances I've seen in a very long time. I was amazed by her talent. She gets better...

I have seen him play a serial killer, a rapist, and a hero who okays his hand being chopped off without pain meds for the greater good. The one thing that all of these had in common is the fact that they were all greatly acted. He takes roles that...

There are so many actresses that can\'t act and get their parts based on their looks. Mary is pretty and can act. She does a very good job in the different situations that the actors are always having to deal with on 24. She never disappoints. She...

pippo19 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could pippo19 possibly have for not rating a single film?
