I loved Gilmore Girls. All seven seasons but the way that they ended it was terrible. Okay we get it you are an Obama fan you don't have to mention it several times and then have a newly graduated reporter covering a presidential campaign. I like the Luke part of the final two episodes and I loved the fact that towards the end Lorelai warmed up to Logan. What I didn't love is Rory harshly dumping Logan. I don't blame him for saying he wanted it all. I mean come on how many times did she complain about him being away and long distance relationships and he supports her by telling her that she should do what she wants. Then after he gets his life together and tells her that he loves her and wants to marry her she tells him she isn't ready. After she was the one that said that he was 'the one'. That is horrible. I mean they knew that there wasn't going to be another season and I know they wanted to make her all independent but she came across as selfish. It also made it seem like she never really loved him all that much. They were together for years then when he proposes and she dumps him she just moves along and days later she doesn't even seem upset. That was not the Rory character. Plus the whole April and Paul Anka bits where really too much. Are we really supposed to believe that all kids are like Rory and April. No. April in a real school wouldn't have had all of those girls come to her party. The last two episodes while touching in many ways were some of the worst episodes of the series. Some of us wanted the happy endings. Though bonus for ending the last episode the same way the first did. They should still go back and redo the last two episodes though. Really.
