Level: 44 (2%) ~ At long last, I've reached Level 44. I haven't really been leveling up that much since school started, but I've finally left Level 43 behind. To be honest, though, Level 44 is one of my least favorite levels. Not only does the rank (Golden Boy) sound weird, the emblem is lame (IMO). So I'll be looking forward to the day that I reach Level 45.
In other news, it's finally done. It's been months since I hatched that Togepi egg, but my quest for the ultimate Togekiss is finally complete. For the past few days, I've been battling at the Battle Tower and Battle Factory in order to earn the required 32 BP to buy TM73 Thunder Wave, and I reached that amount today. So I bought the TM and taught Thunder Wave to Togekiss, making my goal complete!
I'm so happy, lol. The only downside to the whole deal is that I got to battle Tower Tycoon Palmer for the first time and came so close to beating him, but lost.
If only Roserade wasn't infactuated with Milotic during that one move, I would've been able to win. But at least I won the Bronze Trophy for my 20-win streak.
In any case, now my goal is complete at last, I can move on to other stuff in Platinum. My next goal is to capture Mesprit, which I'm planning on doing so with the help of Togekiss. Then I'm going to Fullmoon Island to get the Lunar Wing, and set Cresselia lose. Once I do that, I'll put my event items to use and go and catch Darkrai and Shaymin. Now then, time to begin this week's anime/manga updates!

Chapter 468 - Hachibi and Kyubi
Once Madara declares the start of the Fourth Great Ninja War, he disappears, saying that the next time they meet, it will be on the battlefield. The Kages then engage in discussion regarding what they do next, with all of them agreeing that they should form a Shinobi Alliance. Tsuchikage suggests that they use the Hachibi and Kyubi against Madara's forces, but the others instantly disagree, saying that they have to protect them at all costs. While Gaara says that he'll send what they know so far to Kakashi, and Raikage sends out a search party to find KillerBee, Suigetsu and Jugo start forming a plan on getting away.
Meanwhile, KillerBee is talking with his master regarding how to sing with passion. While Sakura's group finally meets up with Naruto, Kakashi, and Yamato, Kisame finds KillerBee, ready to take him -- and the Hachibi -- by force...
Pretty good chapter, though I wasn't that crazy about the translation of it -- SleepyFans is the best for that IMO. I can't wait to see the battle between KillerBee and Kisame; it's bound to be a good one.
Note: Because the author will be taking a break to collect data, there will be no new Naruto chapter next week.

Chapter 378 - Eyes of the Victor
Things are looking pretty hopeless in Hueco Mundo, as both Renji and Chad are down for the count, and Yammy is getting ready to kill Rukia. Just when things look like they'll get even worse, however, Ichigo arrives at the scene, and gets Rukia away from Yammy. His arrival gets Yammy's blood boiling, as he charges at him. Rukia inquires about what happened to Ichigo, who says that he saved Orihime, who is now tending to Uryu's wounds. When Ichigo doesn't get serious with Yammy right away, the latter gets angry. But Ichigo says that he wasn't running away -- he just wanted to bring the battle away from Rukia, Renji, and Chad. When that finally happens, Ichigo Hollowfies and slams Yammy directly with a black Getsuga, saying that if it's just the two of them, he can crush him easily...
Awesome chapter, as we finally get to see Ichigo, Rukia, and Yammy again. With that last attack, it definitely looks like Ichigo will win this battle quickly, but with Yammy being Espada 0, I'm not jumping to conclusions...
