Level: 43 (91%) ~ I'm sorry for not really posting any general updates these past several weeks; I just don't really get much, if any, time on TV.com during the week these days. I'm still able to get on during weekends, though, so the anime/manga updates will keep on coming. And this is my 30th one.
Anyway, since I don't know if I'll get a chance to blog once the weekend is over, I'll combine this week's anime/manga update with a general update.
To start off, a LiveBlog was held several weeks back featuring the live chat for the 2009 Emmys. I missed the actual chat/liveblog, but I saw how it went and it looked really good. Hopefully I'll be able to participate next year. In any case, though, I still got the emblem for it, and I must say that it looks awesome.
In other news, the story of Piplup and Chimchar of Team Pokepals continued, as Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky - Beyond Time & Space aired yesterday. It may not be a regular episode, but I'm planning on covering it in Part 2 of this week's anime/manga update, so you can look forward to that.

Naruto Manga Update

Chapter 467 - Declaration of War
As Sakura, Sai, Kiba, and Lee head out to find Naruto, and Naruto ponders what Madara told him about Sasuke, Madara gets ready to tell the Kages about his Moon's Eye Plan. Before he can do so, Raikage attacks, but Madara easily escapes the blow. He then tells Karin to take Sasuke and heal his wounds, and begins his explanation once everyone has settled down (more or less).
Madara begins by saying that after his battle with the First Hokage, he became only a shell of his former self due to the wounds that he recieved in-battle. Part of his goal is to regain his lost strength, but that isn't nearly all of it... Madara brings up the Rikudo Sage, the founder of all ninja, and says that he once saved the world from a monster. An ultimate revelation is then brought into light, as Madara shocks everyone by saying that that monster was a fusion of all nine Tailed Beasts: the Jubi, the Ten-Tailed Beast.
In order to control the Jubi's power, the Rikudo Sage sealed it inside himself, becoming its Jinchuriki. He knew that the Jubi would bring nothing but destruction upon the world if it was let loose again as it is, so, on his deathbed, the Rikudo Sage used the last of his strength to divide the Jubi's chakras into nine separate beasts and scatter them throughout the land, then sent its empty body into space where no one could reach it; where it became the moon.
Madara concludes by saying that by using the power of the nine Tailed Beasts, he will revive the Jubi, and become its Jinchuriki. Upon doing so, his eyes will be strengthened, and he will be able to use a certain jutsu... Mugen Tsukiyomi. With that jutsu, he will be able to cast a huge illusion onto the moon, controling everyone on Earth... and making the world one.
When Madara finishes explaining his Moon's Eye Plan, he says that either the Kages can hand over the Kyubi and Hachibi, or there will be war. When the Kages refuse to coropporate, Madara makes it official: the Fourth Great Ninja War has begun...
Totally awesome chapter, as we not only learn of Madara's Moon's Eye Plan, but find out that a tenth Tailed Beast exists, as well. With Madara about to carry out his plan, and the Fourth Great Ninja War about to begin, things are definitely bound to intensify here on out...

Chapter 377 - Shout at the Dark
Upon saving Mashiro from Wonderweiss, Kensei decides to teach the Arrancar a lesson, and unleashes his Bankai, Tekken Tachikaze. Meanwhile, the rest of the Vizards, as well as the Gotei 13, prepare to go up against Aizen. Aizen tries to provoke them into recklessly attacking, but Shinji senses this and warns the others. Unfortunately, Aizen's provoking gets to Hiyori, and she attacks him head on. Before she can do anything, however, Gin suddenly slices her into two, taking her down immediately. Shinji cries out to Hiyori and comes to her aid, but her life-force is fading fast. Knowing that Orihime would be able to save her, Shinji cries out in a plea for Ichigo to make it back in time...
Intense chapter, as this looks like it could very well be the end for Hiyori. Hopefully Ichigo will be able to make it back in time...

And congrats on getting the new emblem. And this week's Naruto chapter was interesting who would have thought that there would be a ten tailed beast as well. It is going to something to see though if this plan of Madara's even works out in the end.
