Naruto Manga Update

Chapter 454 - The Five Kages

All five of the Kages get ready to leave for the meeting. Meanwhile, the Cloud Ninja continue to demand Naruto for information regarding Sasuke. But Naruto can't sell Sasuke out, so he instead says that they can hit him as much as they want in exchange. Elsewhere, Danzo also prepares to leave for the meeting. He's talking about matters with his followers, and says that they have to find Kabuto before Anko does, one of the reasons being in order to get their hands on the data involving Orochimaru's experiments; also saying that the data will be useful for his right eye and arm...

Pretty good chapter, as we now know all five of the Kages. I feel sorry for Naruto getting beat up like that; hopefully things will get resolved soon between him and the Cloud Ninja. Now that we know that Danzo was in apparent cahoots with Orochimaru, I can definitely see his ultimate demise coming. The truth is bound it get into the open eventually, and if he doesn't end up getting killed, he'll at the very least be thrown off the Hokage's seat.

Bleach Manga Update

Chapter 364 - Grinning Revengers

Wonderwiess emerges from the Garganta along with an enormous monster. It isn't long before Wonderweiss jabs Jushiro through the stomach and then performs a technique which frees Halibel and Barragon, who are still alive. The monster then performs a similar technique which frees Aizen, Gin, and Kaneme. Just when all seems lost for the Soul Reapers, renforcements finally arrive: the Vizards!

Awesome chapter, as the battle finally looks like it's nearing its climax. And now that Aizen, Gin, Kaneme, Halibel, and Barragon are free, and the Vizards are back, things are bound to get even more intense.

Pokemon Dub Episode Update

DP113 - Hold the Phione!

Our heroes have finally arrived in Chocovine Town, the site of Dawn's next Pokemon Contest. While strolling around, they come across a merchant who explains that this is the time of year that the legendary Pokemon, Phione, occasionally appears, and it's said that anyone who catches a glimpse of it will have good luck. Dawn immediately decides to go Phinoe Watching in order to see one for herself so she'll have good luck in the upcoming Contest. Turns out that Team Rocket are the ones in charge of the so-called Phione Watching, and are making big bucks by selling tickets to a whole bunch of people, Ash and comp. included. They take off, and it isn't long before they find a trio of Phione, one of which seems to have a "thing" for Dawn's Buneary...

Pretty good episode; better than I expected. Phione makes its debut and I liked the humor in the episode (Team Rocket's aside). And now Dawn's next Pokemon Contest is coming up next!

Naruto Shippuden Episode 116 - Guardian of the Iron Wall

Having recruited Suigetsu, Sasuke travels to the southern hideout in order to recruit his next potential teammate: Karin. Unlike Suigetsu, however, Karin was on Orochimaru's side. When the two of them arrive, Karin initionally refuses to join, so while Suigetsu goes to free the prisoners on Sasuke's order, Sasuke tries more to convince Karin to join his team. Karin then remembers the feelings that she got for Sasuke when they first met and agrees to go with him, though when Suigetsu comes back, she says she's only going the same way as them. Having "recruited" Karin, Sasuke makes his next destination known: the northern hideout, where he plans to recruit his third and final teammate, Jugo...

Pretty good episode, and I found it kinda amusing how Karin's voice drastically changed whenever she went into "I love Sasuke" mode. Definitely looking forward to the next episode.

Level: 38 (39%) ~ Heh, my bad. When I saw that I was on 37% yesterday, it made me think I was on Level 37 instead of Level 38, which is what I'm really on. So there was no level/percentage sameness after all. But this is definitely not what this entry is about. I've decided to do a blog special in honor of Independence Day, and this special will feature a Caturday Festival! In case you don't know what I'm getting at, it means a whole bunch of lolcat pics. So with an epic fail to get started...

Level: 37 (37%) ~ Lol, I just realized that I'm on the same level and percentage again. I think this is the third time, and not only that, the last time this happened was just one level back.

Anyway, for those of you who are fans of the Pokemon Video Game Franchise, the North American release date for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky has been revealed to be October 1st of this year. I'm not sure yet if I'll be getting it considering the fact that it has the same basic storyline as Explorers of Time/Darkness but the bunch of extras such as new Starter Pokemon, special episodes, new locations, etc. is tempting. I'm going to think about it more before I decide.

In other news, I'm considering bunching this week's anime/manga update into one blog entry (Sunday) so that I can make a blog entry that focuses mostly on the 4th of July (Saturday). I'm not sure yet if I'll be doing this, though. In any case, time for the Random Pokemon of the Day:
