Ok I'm torn with this film. The opening sequence was great. New York city empty bar some wild life and Robert Neville(Will Smith) and his dog,Sam. This made me belief i was going to part of some film history but i was sadly mistaken. The film is suspenseful but it wastes the amazing atmosphere created by the masterful use of sound. Will Smith shows his acting ability and really makes his character likeable and gives a performance worthy of an oscar nom. But the film itself, though at the beginning and in the middle is very good, suffers from a poor ending. It comes up with a cop out ending so everything is resolved in a few seconds and i just didn't like it. Also I found the zombies(they are meant to be vampires) just boring and kind of annoying after a while. So all in all i give it a 3 out of 5...it had so much potential and the final act ruined it.
