Some members have been waiting for months for the ability to moderate the forums for which they are editors. All editors have been waiting for much longer to import cast & crew, which takes about 1-1/2 hours to add manually. Many other key elements no longer function. But what does this matter when the site has yet ANOTHER NEW LOOK?

I think Fernando said it best when he said -- "It doesn't matter how you feel, it's how you look."

The site designers' take on this philosophy is that it doesn't matter if the place is busted; just as long as it looks flashy to keep the attention of the Twitter generation.

I was actually thinking about Fernando when I wrote the blog, but didn't he say "it's better to look good than to feel good?" This site does neither. But Hoeech, my friend, you look MAAAAVELOUS!

Pfft! Who gives a crap about usability when you have the awesome choice of choosing lights "on" or "off"... thats what this site is about... aesthetics! Later .

LOL both of you! Paula, you took the words right outta my brain. I think the designers here deserve a worthy punishment for the hell they put us through. Methinks a year at an IT help desk call center that only has clients who've no tech knowledge at all. You know, "Ma'am, have you checked that you plugged in your computer? Will you do so now?"

Or as my ole mammy use to say, "You can put lipstick on a pig, but in the end it's still a pig."

I totally agree with all of you. It's kinda like about a house looking good on the outside but on the inside it could be rotting.

Oy, usability went out the window more than a year ago. It totally amazes me that CBS actually advertises this site on television. The first time I saw an ad I sat up and said, "Whaaaat? You're proud of this site?? For what reason???" Crazy.
