Beginning with Season 5, poorly written thumbnail sketches have been appearing in the recap section of each episode of the Criminal Minds guide on Thursday after each episode has aired. I've been asked on Facebook why I would approve such poor quality material for CBS's #1 rated show on Wednesday night three weeks in a row. The short answer is... I didn't. And I doubt an editor for another show guide would accept them either.
This is the guideline for submitting recaps to the Criminal Minds guide:
6. Episode Recaps:
An episode recap should be as objective as possible, and must not have any grammar and spelling errors. Please use the character names as used on the show, e.g., Hotchner or Hotch, Rossi, Morgan, Prentiss, Reid, and Garcia.
The mystery writer isn't following this rule or even bothering to use spellcheck. If anyone wants to update these sketches and turn them into actual recaps, please feel free to do so. This is an example what a good recap should look like: "Faceless, Nameless."
