Once again I will say I hate reality tv, and MTV, but I urge everybody to take 2 hours out of their day and watch the 2 hour premiere of The Jersey Shore on MTV.
This is basically like The Real World, except its a house full of stereotypical Italians called "Guidos", and "Guidettes". 4 hot girls, and 4 testosterone filled guys hooking up, fighting, drinking, and partying. It's one of those guilty pleasure shows that you will love, but never admit to your friend's that you even watch.
Personally I think that reality tv shows are a plague on america. Reality tv shows are the networks way of saying "We don't have any more ideas for comedy, or dramas, so here is a tv show consisting of you watching other people do stuff".
Don't Forget The Lyrics was a polished gem in a pile of crap. It was fun, and entertaining, and you don't get much funnier than Wayne Brady. The show seemed to be a hit for Fox, and then all of a sudden, it was gone just like all the other great television.
Has anyone noticed that very few sitcoms have a real theme song?. I know this shows my age, but as a child of the 80's, I remember sitting in front of the tv at night waiting for my favorite tv shows, and getting excited when the theme song came on that you could sing along with.
Everybody knew the words to the Saved By The Bell theme, or Full house and Perfect Strangers on Friday Night's TGIF lineup. Now I bet it's a challenge to name 5 top shows that have a theme song that is not just instrumental.
