Well, Vick signed with the Eagles. And I, for one, am very angry. Who would sign this guy? Seriously. He killed dogs. KILLED DOGS! He beat them and trained them to be aggressive, and if they didn't "perform" he executed them or abandoned them. Yeah, he served almost two years in jail. That's not nearly as much as he deserves, though. He should've been beaten, mauled by the dogs he tortured, or thrown into a pit with lions and tiger and various other ferocious animals. He doesn't deserve to have a career after what he did.
And the whole thing with PETA? Well, don't even get me started on PETA. They're a horrible "organization" that shouldn't even exist, let alone get funded by idiots (and no offense to any of you who've given to PETA; how were you supposed to know the truth?). It's a left-wing, hippy, nut-job organization: "We all need to live in harmony with each other, with the animals. We shouldn't eat the animals.
