As I reach level 3 (and I honestly have no idea how that's different from level 2) I find it pretty interesting that there are so many people coming to this site and spending time posting about their favorite (and not so favorite) TV shows.

Life is busy enough, but I guess if there's one thing that TV has done well, it's making sure that it can still infiltrate your life regardless of how busy you are. Case-in-point... Sony has just come up with those hand-held TV tablets that will allow you to watch cable/satellite TV across a wireless network, and now... the video ipod so people can record and watch videos (music, TV and otherwise) anywhere. TV has come a long way since the hand held black-and-white TV's that needed an antenna!

Wow, talk about a long haul to get to level 2! Now I can start making comments regarding episode quotes, and other fun things! Woohoo!!

As a self-professed TV junkie I am surprised that it has taken me so long to finally find TV.com and take the time to register. There is a wealth of information here, and I hope I will be able to contribute.

My main TV interests include mostly the science-fiction/fantasy genre, but I do have a general interest in all things TV, especially from a pop-culture/sociological perspective.

My response to the statement "There is too much trash on TV." is simply, "There wouldn't be a supply if there wasn't a demand."

Some people just don't have opinions. Like oldsage.
oldsage must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could oldsage possibly have for not rating a single film?
