Time-based games never quite hit it off with me, though usually there are other factors that make up for the counting-down-to-failure feature.

That said, I would like to say that whoever came up with the need to revisit the Temple of the Ocean King over and over and OVER again needs to be swiftly eliminated. Even more so the clever mind who decided to record the time spent reaching the midpoint of the dungeon for the first time and then use that whenever one steps into that deceptive yellow glow.

Of course, I'm not saying Phantom Hourglass is a bad game.
On the contrary, it's rather addictive; exploring little islands, solving all manner of puzzles... injuring passing chickens.
I'm also rather glad to have it for the DS, as having to scribble my Zelda maps on a piece of paper was getting old. The game isn't bad by any means, and I am rather happy to have shelled out $35 for it...

But all that seems to fade whenever the idea of going back to that dreadful time-sucking, life-stealing, run-fast-to-a-glowing-safe-zone place shows it's ugly face.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like o44.
o44 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could o44 possibly have for not rating a single film?
