I went to Ireland from April 21 until April 29 and it was an incredible vacation. I went to Dublin, Kilkenny, Cashel, Waterford, Cork, Dingle, Tralee, Galway, and the Aran Islands. Ireland is such a beautiful country and the people were very nice. I would love to go back again someday in the near future. I am very jealous of you Irish gamers that already live in that splendid country. Take a look at my pictures.

That's so awesome! I went to Ireland, as well, except I went in March. I only went to Galway and Dublin though (though we did tour through the Connemara area). I agree, it's a very beautiful country.

Nice pictures. As far as scenery goes, you'll probably find Scotland (and maybe the few bits of England that aren't made of concrete ) just as beautiful.

Thanks for the great comments. I have been to England before a few years back and loved checking out the castles and the countryside. Surprisingly, the weather in Ireland the week I was there was better than the weather in England when I was there in the middle of the summer.

I'm not surprised. It's been unseasonably warm around here recently.

Wow! You definately had a lot of fun! I love going on vacations and with my friends on vacations. Between my group of buddies, I'm like EVERYBODY'S best friend so I often get to be the lucky one picked to go on a vacation or to an amusement park with them!!
Ireland sounds pretty nice. I mean, being all Polac and German, Ireland wouldn't be my top choice and wanting to own property in Japan is pretty radical, but it sounds like a nice place to vacation (run on sentence?? lol).

I am full blood American, but I do have some Polish, German, Irish, and English in me. I might have be working in Yokosuka, Japan in early 2009 for my current employer for 2-4 months. I think it will be the opportunity of a lifetime.
