Today, our new Nintendo DSgame, Personal Trainer: Walking, showed up and my wife and I got excited. I am using the black pedometer and she is using the white pedometer. We wanted to get the game to work on the 10,000 step workout program where you walk 10,000 steps a day to help live a healthy lifestyle. There is also a competition at work that involves getting 10,000 steps a day for 30 days. I can't wait to start on that program tomorrow. We tried out the new pedometers by walking around the neighborhood for about 25 minutes and we picked up 3200 steps. The initial default goal is 3000 steps which we got, but we changed it to 10,000 steps starting tomorrow.

We initially got some free pedometers from my mom in May. I was wearing it everyday and the most steps I was getting was 6500. I did a lot of walking that day. My average was about 3000 steps for about four weeks. My coworker got the Personal Trainer game and he said that he logged 10,000 steps on the first day he had it. I asked him about his walking routine and it pretty much matched mine. I tested the pedometer in the office by walking 10 steps and it measured 2-3 steps both times. The cheap pedometer kept me from showing me that I actually had done 10,000 steps.

I hope we continue to enjoy it. I know I will enjoy it until at least the work competition is completed.

Fun Fact: 10,000 steps is equivalent to 5 miles.

It has been almost two years that I have been the Metal Slime rank. I knew it was going to be a slow time, but I did not realize that it would take this long.

Rescue Ranger is based on the Disney animated TV series Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers that premiered in 1993. The Rescue Rangers were Chip, Dale, Gadget, Monterey Jack, and Zipper. There were two video games based on the show that came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The games were made by Capcom in 1990 and 1994. The video game was a side-scrolling action game where Chip and Dale can walk, jump, duck, and pick up objects such as acorns, crates, and barrels to throw at enemies and bosses.

I remember watching the show after getting home from school growing up. It was a great show from what I remember, but I don't remember playing the video game. I do remember playing Duck Tales video game in the same era.

I have had a whirlwind lifestyle for the last 6 months. I got married in October and moved into my wife's house which was 80 miles from work. I had a super long commute until Christmas time. After Christmas I left for Japan for work. I got back from Japan and Thailand two weeks ago and now we are living in my house which is really close to work. Japan was quite the experience, butI did not go to Sony or Nintendo. I found out that Nintendo headquarters in Kobe is not open to the public, so I never went there. My wife and I checked out a few video game shops which were everywhere, but we were not sure what games to get that a non Japanese reader should get. We studied some Japanese while we were there, but we never learned any kanji which is mostly used. We learned the hiragana alphabet and a few Japanese words, but not enough to get around too easily. I am glad that I am back in my old house since it is closer to work. This will allow me to start playing my home gaming consoles again. We still play group games on the Wii, but I would like to play more of the mass amount of games in my video game library including mostly PS1 and PS2 games. Maybe, I will start posting more often and keeping track of every elses posts, but maybe not.

Some people just don't have opinions. Like nwsnowboarder.
nwsnowboarder must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could nwsnowboarder possibly have for not rating a single film?
