I guess people only do that cause there are a lot of people that don't look in the forums for a min and post a topic that has been recently hot or on the same page. It does get annoying I guess when you see the same then repeated all over the board, especially a rumor or good or bad news that attract other fanboys.

Or in some cases with people who come back after months and there is old news that a simple search would answer but they post something and it brings up old wounds

yeah, it just really aggravated,me at the time seems how it's something I got handed out in Psychology class and i found it interesting, I didn't know that it had been around for years, and when I posted it in the off topic board it got hit up really fast with the world OLD and other things. I had never seen it on tne boards and I thought that it was relatively new. I guess next time I'll have to be more causious before posting something and put a disclaimer on it or something.

On a positive side it was my fastest growing topic ever.
