so, i bought a new video game this week. It is the latest release of halo, which some of you might know, is nathon fillion's favorite video game. Well you may also know, nathon fillion, adam baldwin, and alan turdyk did voice-overs for the game's main characters. Which is cool.

But you probably don't realize, that while playing as Nathon's character, entering a room filled with enemies, he says: "there's too Gorram many of them in here!"

opon hearing this phrase, i ran upstairs, grabbed my laptop, and came here to inform you of this epic-ness.

also, you may have noticed, i'm still not on frequently.... but i promise, when i do come one, my posts will be as random, and awesome as this one is.

Okay, so I have returned. Busy days will continue, but with the new shows coming out, I just HAVE to be on here. Fortunately, my chem class seems easy, so I am on here instead of taking notes.

Wow, so the long weeks of summer work finished, and I had all of two days off before school started. Now my schedule includes Calculus 3, Calc Physcis 2, and Honors Chem. I also tutor in calc, physics, and chemistry during most of my free time. HOWEVER. I can't stay away. My shows are just too good, and you guys are just too great.

Also in my life since I was last on, a trip to new york, boston, and pittsburgh; a new laptop; and a few new shows for me to be interested in.

Well, at any rate, fringe, big bang theory, and HIMYM are all back within the week or so. So I am ready to watch.

The summer was way to long a break for programming, only tided over by a new top gear season, reruns, and working through DVD's of old shows.

One of those old shows is Frasier, I have started watching it again, and I am through season 6...

I also did the same thing with seinfeld and the Bob Newhart show. But, these shows are not the thing that I am really excited about.

Right now, I am very excited for the upcoming premiere of Fringe.

Now, i know i know, big bang theory, HIMYM, and Chuck should be coming soon too, but with Fringe premiering this week, and it being one of my favorite shows, i am very excited.

Side note: when is chuck going to be here? !?! i have waited patiently, and now, i want chuck!

At any rate, I will have to be back on when i actually have something to review (after fringe is on) but for now, i just wanted to come back on to say hi.

wow, i had quite the finish to an already hectric semester..... never would have thought that i would have so much work in a month as i had last month. Glad that it's over!

Now that school is over, i had hoped to catch up on blogs, and shows. Sadly, this has not yet been the case.. It's been nearly three weeks and i have been busier each week. The first week i watched quite a bit of TV, while i was filling out job apps online or in paper form in my living room. But after a while, the job apps paid off and i was finally able to find a job for the summer.

Just started the new job today actually, took them a while to sort everything out...

Before starting my work there though, i was over at my friend's house quite frequently, helping out with repairs, yard-work, and general upkeep *salute* "general upkeep!" He has a lot on his plate, and i had some spare time, so that took priority over TV....

i did, however, have some time for programs, i finally caught up on chuck, which i was behind by about three weeks, and HIMYM ,which i was about 2 behind, BBT (2 behind)..... everything else i was watching i basically just ditched on, never finished out dollhouse, nor lie to me. kinda sad, but i doubt i'll get around to it even now...

believe it or not this blog was intended to be mainly about TV, with only a short intro explaining my absence for a month or so...

so here it goes!

i started watching Stargate SG1 the other week, i found it surprisingly good! i had figured it was decent, and it has richard dean anderson in it, but i didn't expect it to be so well written! I think it has joined firefly and fringe with my all-time favorites in the sci fi category

i also re-watched chuck, season 1, and TBBT season 2, both were, and still are excellent, rewatching chuck prompted me to go out and buy dune, not the re-make, but the original movie from 84, that provided me with much joy.

oh, and i finally convinced my parents that their old PC in our living room is not sufficient, it took alot of effort, but they replaced it with a new dell Studio XPS, and a 23 inch widescreen 1080p monitor, on which i actually prefer to view shows, over the panasonic viera sitting next to it. My laptop is going to have to last me another several months seeing as my car needed repairs........

oh yeah, TV....

Fringe totally ended the season with style, the last four (or was it five?) episodes after the break, were all spectacular. Two of them were slightly creepy, but i guess that's partly the idea behind the show... one thing is for sure, it was very entertaining... the finale was probably the best episode of the season, rivaled only by episode 14, where we first see Olivia excersize her ability, in "ability"

No other way to put it: He shows us time and time again, how acting is supposed to be done! In acting class, they should just show clips of Denzel. What an extraordinary actor. And he's a genuinely good man too! He has a stable family life, and...

Yeah, I think it's fair to say that he is the greatest actor on TV today. He makes me laugh at every turn. He manages to play one of the most difficult roles on TV so flawlessly! I am astounded by the sheer talent of Jim Parsons. How can he...

noway746 must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could noway746 possibly have for not rating a single film?
