GAMES: GameSpot GameFAQs MOVIES: Metacritic Movietome Comic-Con

Well Well Well. It seems like there is a lot of music surrounding the video game industry as of late. That could possibly be because Rock Band and Guitar Hero 3 have recently come out. I dont know for sure its just a theory. I am becoming pretty annoyed by the recent commotion brought about by these games. I find myself being annoyed because man these instruments are plastic. I am unable to get the kind of satisfaction that others get from these games. I guess I just don't get it right. Now I didnt have too much of a problem with guitar hero but when rock band came out and i found out it was almost 200 dollars I about flipped. I could bye a crappy real guitar with kind of money. Are you serious! I got my fender strat pack about 4 years ago from a local guitar dealership (if you will) and it cost 300 dollars. It came with a fender strat (of course this wasnt the greatest guitar) a small amp a strap some strings and a couple of picks. Now come on. Is it just me or does anyone else find this to be outrageous. I realize "real" guitar takes practice and can be frustrating because you can't just pick it up and play any song you want or any song activision thinks you should play but the overall result is much more rewarding.
