This movie will haunt you for days to come! Michael Rooker ever-convincingly portrays Henry Lee Lucas (a real life serial killer) in this true story about his life at a certain time period. The movies opens with our introdution to Henry without seeing him. At first, we see some of his victims in gory detail. As the film progresses, we meet Henry, his roommate Otis and Otis's sister Becky who is coming to live with him awhile to get on her feet. Becky develops feelings for Henry without knowing who he is. As soon as Otis finds out more about Henry, this film really takes some disturbing turns. There's a good reason this movie comes with a warning. This is the best film on the subject of serial killers. Try to forget this movie after you've watched it- you can't! All in all, it delivers a very useful message- infact it bludgeons you with it!

Few films will transfix you like this one will! It is a drama, a horror film and an experimental "what the f***" film all rolled into one delicious banquet of insanity. It is set in a future world where everything is as dreary as you're likely to find. The adults are morose and seem lobotomized from life. Our main character (portrayed by a creepy Jack Nance) takes us through a time in his life with his confused wife, deformed baby and a strange woman in the radiator. If that sentence intrigued you, watch this movie! If the sentence confused you, watch this movie! You will never soon forget the images this movie will put in your head! David Lynch can do no wrong!

This movie was as moving as films get! Clive Owen excels as a sad man in a sad future where children are no more. Ever since a massive disease killed fertility in women, things have changed! The movie opens with the death of the last child. An all-star cast heads this movie and plays it to perfection. The story concerns he and others plan to get a special woman across to the fabled "Human Project". Why? Watch the movie. It's worth every moment with its gorgeous cinematography, haunting score and ability to make you care as characters flow in and out at will.

There is so much to learn from this movie and so many good performances. Piper Laurie is ever creepy as good ol Mom. The last half an hour of this movie always breaks my heart in two- every time! Great score, Great story, an almost perfect film!

I have enjoyed him in everything he has done! Whether it is the true genius of the way he plays "Stifler" or the understated grace in which he plays the sidekick to many a camera hog! His most attractive features are his natural charm, his soothing eyes, his sculpted body and that extremely unusual chin that sets him apart. My favorite role of his still has to be "American Wedding". Many could dismiss that role as easy but I would beg those to take another look at how effortlessly he takes us through the journey of a character in one film. The best part is that he actually entertains us every step of the way! He is a standout in every way!
