Today's world of television is much different from the television world I used to know. CBS has more crime dramas than the Detroit Lions have losses, ABC has cancelled a lot of its lineup (including one of my favorites Pushing Daises), FOX still has nothing of interest to me, and NBC is... well... struggling. It seems harder for me to find a tv show I can actually sit through and watch, but I do find something. Seeing as this is a website dedicated to tv, I think its high time I write a blog about it. So as of the new year, this is what I'm watching (in no particular order).

1. Momma's Boys (NBC) - To my surprise, I can't get enough of this show. I think it has to do with the fact that its a Bachelor-esque show with a unique twist i.e. the moms live with the girls their sons go out with. Nuts, but I just hope NBC doesn't keep pumping out new seasons to keep itself afloat. I suggest letting this season end, and if they do start a new one, doon't premire it until fall.

2. Law and Order: SVU (NBC) - I can thank my sister for getting me addicted to this show via USA network reruns. I love the mystery and the story lines always catch my attention. Dare I say it is a must watch for crime drama fanatics.

3. ER (NBC) - I loved this show ever since I was a little kid. Through all its seasons, it has maintained the excellent quality I grew up watching. While this is the final season, I have never missed an episode. If you have a spare hour and wanna watch a real hospital show (that means you Grey's Anatomy) stop by at 9 o'clock.

4. The Soup (E!) - I never ever miss an episode of this show. Joel McHale (I think that's how you spell it) pokes fun at the week in popular culture and tv, and points out all of the stupidity that is out there in the world of television. Funny for anyone, but maybe not children.

5. Prototype This! (Discovery Channel) - Going into college next year for engineering, this is a personal favorite. These guys get to live out any nerds dream. They built real sized rock em' sock em' robots and a car that can rise above other traffic. Crazy stuff, and even crazier they allow them to build the things they do.

6. Pushing Daisies (ABC) - This show is like a Dr. Seuss murder mystery show. Though the only thing I don't like is the constant focus between the show and the piemaker and Chuck's relationship. I don't like lovey dovey stuff, but the rest of the show is what keeps me coming back.

7. Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares (BBC, FOX) - I absolutely love Hell's Kitchen, and this is just another example of Gordon Ramsay being Gordon Ramsay. Only he criticizes people about their whole resuraunt. Me likey.

8. The Graham Norton Show (BBC) - Thank goodness for this british talk show. Graham Norton puts his guests and his audience in funny situations, does outrageous antics, and can make you laugh till it hurts. Saturday's at nine, I'm glued to the couch and the tv.

The new look of tv.com and my utter lack of contributions to tv.com over the past 3 years of my membership have me wondering if I should even be here anymore. Not just that, but most of my friends have all but gone from here. When I first came here, I was all about meeting some new people on the internet, and I did, but I don't feel as if that is truly happening anymore. Next year, I'll be in college and don't think I'll be hear as often as I used to. The only way I'll stay is if the people who know me want me to stay. So I'll leave it up to you.

Should I stay or should I go

Well well, it has been a while since I've written a blog, so let's see: What you missed.

Obviously, school started and I am proud to say, that so far this year, I am a straight A student for the first time ever in my school career. School's been going great, and I think it has to do with that I don't feel uber depressed like I did last year. Depressed you ask? Long story short, the medicine I was taking to prevent my epileptic seizures, made me feel depressed, and on top of it, I didn't make neither the marching band nor the sports teams I tried out for and I had some friendship issues, but that's all behind me now.

Over the summer, I worked until school started and made a nice sum of over $2,000. I have spent just a little bit of it ($200), but think I'll save most of it. Although, some new accessories for my drum kit would be nice.

But today, after a weekend of 50 degree weather, it whooshed up to the 80s and it was unbearably hot. So, I'm sitting here in my boxers writing... you probably didn't need to know that. MOVING ON!

Tomorrow, I get to dissect a rat in Anatomy and Physiology. Everyone's so queasy about it, but it doesn't make me sick really. Which more than likely means, I'll be cutting it open. YES!!

Hold your head up, and I almost forgot, I finally found out the name of this song that was stuck in my head. Plush-Stone Temple Pilots

Happier Days

Where do I start with em'. They're music is very original and sounds superb. I cannot stand not to drive to school without World Wide Suicide blasting. While still having some problems with finding a drummer to stay with them, you wouldn't of...

How he ever won 2 presidenies I will never know, actually he didn't win either of them. He has no clue as to what he's doing. He's the worst of the worst. I wish he could do something that we can remember him by positively, but good ol' Georgie...

How Taylor Hicks (and Fantasia) ever won American Idol, I will never know. Sure he's got a great personality and he's energetic, but the guy cannot sing. Be honest with yourselves. Did you honestly vote for him because you thought he could sing,...

nmantzios must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could nmantzios possibly have for not rating a single film?
