It looks like here we have another one of everyone typical 'good news, bad news' blogs. So I'll start with the bad news first ... so maybe you can leave on a happy note ... or not ... ![]()
THE BAD:
- I guess you can just say last night was a rather emotional night for me - one of my best friends was having rather suicidal thoughts last night and it was rather depressing and taking a toll ... but I spent some time with him today and things are much better, but I hope things work better. He has a really large backstory behind him that supports some of his actions, though it would be too much to post in a blog - and I'll respect that part of his privacy. Well at least he is okay. ![]()
- I found out last week that I am bi-polar. Okay well honestly this isn't something that I would consider bad, however I guess now I know the cause of a some rather annoying intervals of depression that haunts my emotions for periods at a time ... but hey, honestly I am happy that I know what the cause is. As of now I should be on three medications ... however, one causes drowsiness so I can only take it on weekends, and the other two I am not sure what to make of them. So with that, I think I'm just going to be put on Prozac ... just like the rest of my family!
THE GOOD:
- Lots of good gaming news for Nintendo fans ... yes, there has been plenty of good gaming news for Nintendo fans. To begin with, Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Sonic the Hedgehog, and some positive impressions of the gameplay demo make me really excited for the game! Though while Smash Bros. was delayed, it is only two months and the longer, well I think we can expect the game to be better. As well, there were also some new information for Advance Wars DS 2, Mario Baseball on the Wii, Fire Emblem on the DS, and ... Link's Crossbow Training ... though honestly that's something I'm not exactly keeping close tabs on.
- The New Zunes come out soon.
Hardly something to be excited about for most of you, but what the hell ... I'm looking forward to it. Of course I will be picking up the Zune 80 GB so ... or I am pretty sure I am

Platyphyllum: Heehee thats two people in a row! Well to make it simple - lets just say bi-polar can cause a sense of moody intervals for no apparent reason ... really depressed, really happy, really annoyed ... it comes and goes ... But yeah we're going to keep close - that's what friends are for.
VMan: You are absolutely right - thanks.
redX5112L: Damn I hate friend codes ... I thought Wii nubers would be the solution ... And yeah he's doing a lot better now - thanks.
Damn i wanted to make a joke there but i'll fight against it, sorry to hear that mate and i hope you can get off the medication just as soon as possible.
Lets hope Sonic isn't the last big addition to Smash Bros.
Hey Eric, try not to worry about the bi-polar issue. Even though it sucks that you will have to be on medication probably the rest of your life, getting control of the issue is the most important thing. People who are bi-polar but go undiagnosed can do horrible things to themselves and others.
PJ24: Don't make fun!
SavoyPrime: Hmm I never have thought about it like that - that's a nice way to look at it - thanks.
darklink125: I wouldn't mind growing weight - I'm too skinng!
tbui54: Thanks.
gohantech00: I'm sorry this 'suicidal' thing seems to have spread around so much ... it's rather depressing - but yeah, we can still party with Brawl.
Goliath_unit: How uneventful!
and being bi-polar is no picnic either
i'll be thinking of ya man hang in there
i'm not so hyped up iwht sonic in SSBB i just want to play Snake!!!!
Bi-polar is tough man... always changing moods... one minute you're ok and on the following you're depressed... You'll be fine!
As for your friend... geez... that must be a really uncomfortable situation...
As for the happy news... Sonic on Brawl!?
And yes Sonic in Brawl - it's fantastic. Though not owning a Wii ...*tsk tsk*.
wolf360rev: Yes he should be fun! But we have to wait until February!
Keep your friend safe.
And thanks, I sure will.
