It looks like here we have another one of everyone typical 'good news, bad news' blogs. So I'll start with the bad news first ... so maybe you can leave on a happy note ... or not ...

THE BAD:

- I guess you can just say last night was a rather emotional night for me - one of my best friends was having rather suicidal thoughts last night and it was rather depressing and taking a toll ... but I spent some time with him today and things are much better, but I hope things work better. He has a really large backstory behind him that supports some of his actions, though it would be too much to post in a blog - and I'll respect that part of his privacy. Well at least he is okay.

- I found out last week that I am bi-polar. Okay well honestly this isn't something that I would consider bad, however I guess now I know the cause of a some rather annoying intervals of depression that haunts my emotions for periods at a time ... but hey, honestly I am happy that I know what the cause is. As of now I should be on three medications ... however, one causes drowsiness so I can only take it on weekends, and the other two I am not sure what to make of them. So with that, I think I'm just going to be put on Prozac ... just like the rest of my family!

THE GOOD:

- Lots of good gaming news for Nintendo fans ... yes, there has been plenty of good gaming news for Nintendo fans. To begin with, Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Sonic the Hedgehog, and some positive impressions of the gameplay demo make me really excited for the game! Though while Smash Bros. was delayed, it is only two months and the longer, well I think we can expect the game to be better. As well, there were also some new information for Advance Wars DS 2, Mario Baseball on the Wii, Fire Emblem on the DS, and ... Link's Crossbow Training ... though honestly that's something I'm not exactly keeping close tabs on.

- The New Zunes come out soon. Hardly something to be excited about for most of you, but what the hell ... I'm looking forward to it. Of course I will be picking up the Zune 80 GB so ... or I am pretty sure I am

glad to hear your friend is ok, i have some friends who can be a bit crazy sometimes but usually they snap right out of it though within a week. im not sure what bi-polar is so i'll look it up on wikipedia. and Smash Bros. is awesome, but becasue of the delay im canceling the pre-order and buying The Orange Box. that new Zune is pretty sweet looking though.

Ah, having best friends with suicidal thoughts is awful. Make sure to be there for him/her whenever you can be there for them! Interactions with friends always lighten up the mood! ^_^ I'm not quite sure what bi-polar is though Oh yes, Sonic in Super Smash Bros. Brawl is awesome! ^_^

Sorry to hear about the emotional issues you and your friend are experience. Stay close to your friend. Make sure he always feels he has the support of someone.

you will still have to enter for 16 digit friend code and have no vioce chat, oh boy can't wait. oh and sorry to hear about your friend I hope he will be okay

Kenzo_287: Yeah - what would the world be without friends? But yeah, the Orange Box is a nice idea if you ask me - I mean you still have two extra months to make up for Brawl right? And it's good you can spend your time playing a game as good as that one!

Platyphyllum: Heehee thats two people in a row! Well to make it simple - lets just say bi-polar can cause a sense of moody intervals for no apparent reason ... really depressed, really happy, really annoyed ... it comes and goes ... But yeah we're going to keep close - that's what friends are for.

VMan: You are absolutely right - thanks.

redX5112L: Damn I hate friend codes ... I thought Wii nubers would be the solution ... And yeah he's doing a lot better now - thanks.

You're bi-polar??
Damn i wanted to make a joke there but i'll fight against it, sorry to hear that mate and i hope you can get off the medication just as soon as possible.

Lets hope Sonic isn't the last big addition to Smash Bros.

You and your Zune...

Also...Sonic! YAY!!!

How can anything about the Zune be good news?

Hey Eric, try not to worry about the bi-polar issue. Even though it sucks that you will have to be on medication probably the rest of your life, getting control of the issue is the most important thing. People who are bi-polar but go undiagnosed can do horrible things to themselves and others.

hope ur friends ok and srry to hear ur bipolar my cuZ has it too btw one biploar med causes u to grow weight
Posted Oct 15, 2007 4:56 am PT
I hope everything is alright. Life is always full of challenges, you gotta keep on fighting.
Posted Oct 15, 2007 12:37 pm PT
Well, I'd be the third person to not know what bi-polar meant, but that's what dictionary.com is for. But I'm glad you convinced your friend otherwise about those thoughts. It seems like lately that I keep hearing too many people attempting suicide for some reason, though . But.........YAY! Sonic in Brawl! PAR-TAY!!!!!!!

good thing your friend is alright. nothing happened to me today.
Posted Oct 15, 2007 4:26 pm PT
I've had some emotional problems and thought of suicide has been a recurring thing in my life but I got things to prove and ladies to do! lol Zunes are good too, I got the first 30 gb version and loving it so good choice

fishdalf: Yeah but hey - who would've thought? Oh well a joke would be nice right about now.

PJ24: Don't make fun! And like Fishy said, hopefully we'll see someone else great besides Sonic.

SavoyPrime: Hmm I never have thought about it like that - that's a nice way to look at it - thanks.

darklink125: I wouldn't mind growing weight - I'm too skinng!

tbui54: Thanks.

gohantech00: I'm sorry this 'suicidal' thing seems to have spread around so much ... it's rather depressing - but yeah, we can still party with Brawl.

Goliath_unit: How uneventful! But thanks! Brotherbraak: Haha, well I'm glad you cleared up on some of those emotional problems ... and ladies to do too! And yes, Zunes are great!

You're bi-polar? You've never struck me as that..
Posted Oct 17, 2007 3:39 pm PT
irmeleeman5995: Yeah well I have my days.
Posted Oct 17, 2007 9:09 pm PT
it's never fun to talk to a friend with bad thoughts like that
and being bi-polar is no picnic either
i'll be thinking of ya man hang in there
i'm not so hyped up iwht sonic in SSBB i just want to play Snake!!!!
Posted Oct 18, 2007 1:34 pm PT
GC4Ever: Yeah definitely ... but hey I'll scratch his back and he'll scratch mine. Though yes Snake should be awesome! Though I'm still curious about him ... from what I've seen he was pretty cool looking but I am still slightly skeptical ...
Posted Oct 18, 2007 8:40 pm PT
Hey Eric. Long time no "see"!

Bi-polar is tough man... always changing moods... one minute you're ok and on the following you're depressed... You'll be fine! Don't forget you have Super Nisha to help you out! Whenever you're feeling down go out for a walk and take Nisha with you. You'll feel a whole lot better.

As for your friend... geez... that must be a really uncomfortable situation...

As for the happy news... Sonic on Brawl!? Didn't know about that. Now I'm looking forward to it even more! Although there's still that "little" problem of not owning a Wii
Posted Oct 19, 2007 9:05 am PT
sonic looks pretty good
Posted Oct 19, 2007 2:32 pm PT
Omnislash_: Yeah you're right - Nisha is such a big stress reducer! What would I do without her?
And yes Sonic in Brawl - it's fantastic. Though not owning a Wii ...*tsk tsk*.

wolf360rev: Yes he should be fun! But we have to wait until February!
Posted Oct 20, 2007 5:05 pm PT
Yeah Sonic was a big news, but I was also hoping that Megaman makes it to the Brawl.
Keep your friend safe.
Posted Oct 22, 2007 3:04 pm PT
Dark_XageX: Yes he was, but Megaman would be great as unfamiliar with him as I am.
And thanks, I sure will.
